Could a warforged wear/use this stuff? Only asking cause they don't technically have blood.
That's a super interesting question, and as far as I can tell there isn't a RAW answer in 5e, so here is my thought process.
Starting with the Living Armor. You must wear the armor for the entire attunement period (no problem there), the armor can’t be removed while you’re attuned to it (again, no problem, in-fact fits with the Warforged theme), it’s cursed so it can’t be removed voluntarily, but if removed by a spell or something that can remove the curse it will detach from you (it'll take the Warforged an hour to remove, but assuming they don't re-attune we should be fine), and the armor requires fresh blood to be fed to it, where you give up half your remaining Hit Dice or take 1 level of exhaustion, which is the biggest outstanding question.
Before answering it, let's take a look at the Warforged.
"Warforged are formed from a blend of organic and inorganic materials. Root-like cords infused with alchemical fluids serve as their muscles, wrapped around a framework of steel, darkwood, or stone. Although they were manufactured, warforged are living humanoids. Resting, healing magic, and the Medicine skill all provide the same benefits to warforged that they do to other humanoids."
So this tells me there is some sort of fluid that acts like blood. And while not blood itself, I would assume there is a fundamental difference in the blood of a Dragonborn, Human, Orc, Aasimar, and Air Genasi. So if the assumption is the armor works on each of these species it should work on the different blood of the Warforged.
So at my table I would run this similar to how I would run a Warforged Blood Hunter. While Warforged don't have "blood" they do have liquids that act in the same manor as blood, meaning they can attune to this armor.
