Want to thank you, found you about year ago and made a site to see if I could do it. Currently has 29 articles after 10 months and doing little over 1,000 page views/month with rankings improving each month, already made yearly hosting cost back and some small profit through amazon affiliate which has given me confidence to invest in making multiple sites here soon. Looking forward to writing more articles. It seems the more I write, the better the articles become and the better they perform. Truly the best youtube channel I've found for this sort of thing. Cheers.
hahaha Maria is the boss! Awesome stuff bro! The site I've started following your course is ranking already for 1500 keywords according to Ahrefs and on track for $100 for the month of June (2 months old site)😎
Awesome video Morten, and you are right my first blog has over 120 articles and it bombed I jumped into a way to competitive niche, and over a year later no traffic, now I followed your advice on my second blog just over 37 articles and most of them are only 2 months old and bam baby 7 of those articles are on the first page of Google and here's the best part I only have literally 2 backlinks to the site and I'm super excited about how many keywords can I rank for over the next few months with those 7 articles.
Hello Morten, Thanks for another good video. I have some questions about featured images. I noticed that you don't have the featured image at the top of your articles, I take it you select the Astra option do not show the featured image, but the image is just below the fold. 1) Do you use the same image that you have set as the featured image and manually add it in the content just below the fold or do you use the same image but with different dimensions? 2) What do you use for compressing your images? I used to use Short Pixels but Ezoic advises not to use this plugin whilst using Leap. I'm looking at improving my user's experience, I have noticed that having a featured image at the top of the article can impact the LCP. Any advice would be very must appreciated. All the best Matt
Hi Matt! #1 - Yes, same image #2 - I often use ShortPixel (you can use it manually) and also Imagify (when using VProcket - for my non-ezoic sites using Adthrive)
Wow, I've been watching your channel since the morning.... and then there's a new video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all of your videos! I'm going to start a new blog soon. I'll keep you updated.
Great content as usual, I would like to ask you about domain; which is better a new domain or expired domain with some authority and backlinks in order to rank in Google faster? I would be so happy if you answer to my question.
Great content on this channel 👍 One thing that confuses me... Category pages. You mentioned in another video that these pages aren't that important but I thought they are the most important pages on a site? Aren't category pages the top of a silo?
yeah, but I don't think they're that important. Many SEO's will noindex them in Google for that same reason. Just have them, and don't obsess over optimizing them - they should just be there for Google to find your content and for users to navigate.
Sorry but I've one more query! In your blog, you mention that you were featured on a bigger platform like Netflix! How do you get to know that these big players feature you? I know it is the dumbest question, but I still want to know! How?
Please reply! #1 - Every topic that I found on google is almost 10 to 7 to 5 years old with zero articles and (zero related topics 'means sub-topic'). On the first page of google it shows 90% forums and 10% 'different' articles, so should I write those topics or not? #2 - It's been two months now since I started writing underserved topics, and I've written 12 articles, but still, my average position is 40 to 50 is it bad? Plus I'm getting 150 to 200 impressions but hardly 1 click! #3 - As you said in some of your videos, that you wrote the first 50 articles in 1st month and another 50 in the 4th month (which is impossible for many of us)! So does it matter to write articles in a bunch and (upload in a bunch)? Or it's ok to write constantly means one after another?
#1 If you mainly find forums it's a good idea to write those. #2 You need to give articles 7-10 months to rank. Frustrating, I know - but that's just how it is with Google... #3 Just write what you can, it's completely fine to not write as much as I did!
Hi Morten, I need your opinion please. Let’s Say I write a similar article about air conditioners. Lets Say I build a downloadable Excel report where people can type things like: The number of Watts of the Machine How many hours Per day they use the Machine Price of electricity in there are And than automatically get results on: How much power would that Machine use Per hour, Per day, Per month, Per year Would that help me stand out?
Intro game going strong 💪 I had a query related to the keyword research! If we have a new site while doing the keyword competition analysis, can we write for the topics which are written by only one site Can we outrank a high DA site with a weak snippet Or should we only go with topics where the forums are ranking!? Any tips?
I recommend digging deeper to find topics with only user-gen. contwnt in top3, when possible. Otherwise go after those with few articles up there in Google 👍
Awesome video Morten, I always enjoy learning from you. I really appreciate it 🙏. So I have a big, not a HUGE doubt. In other videos you were talking about KW research and normally you don't use KW tools. So despite we point for low competition keywords, most of them have a very low CPC. Is this a problem? Does my revenue will be impact negatively? Or it doesn't matter, does it? Can I build niches only with low competition kw and gain good money?
GoDownsize is 90% underserved topics and it's making +$50 per 1,000 pageviews. If you write about products and stuff people can buy you will typically be fine.
How many affiliate articles do you write in one category?? Do you write all informational and commercial articles related to one topic in one Category??
I mix aff. and informational type content in the same categories yes. I like to go easy on affiliate heavy articles for the first year or so but you can do lots of articles targeting questions aboout products and include aff. links!
Hi Morten i have an Amazon affiliate. Site with almost 39 published articles and still getting no traffic . Site age 2.5 months but a few click from bing

I use this plugin for the table of content: wordpress.org/plugins/easy-table-of-contents/ I don't offer discount codes for the course as I've decided to price it lower than the other courses and not drop the price now and then, so the price is constant so everyone pays the same...
Do you write seperate Informational and commercial?? Or write in category wise both Commercial and informational in one category?? And then move to second category??
I mix the two. But I write very few reviews and "best x for y", I mostly target questions about products - at least for the first year or two with a site.

I did, but I had to get pretty creative. I also wrote a good deal of articles that just had little competition (a few articles). I'm OK with the site taking longer to succeed, as the niche is awesome ;) Wouldn't recommend it to a beginner though...
Hi Morten! I just bought a site that's getting 4k-5k page views per month. Been checking out what I could improve and I feel that the website needs a redesign, like a new theme to look cleaner and load faster. Do you think this is worth it? Is there a high risk of losing my current keyword rankings because of the change?
I have learned to not look at search volume, but really try and get good at guessing. Think about whether something will be searched by people or whether it's something very few would look for. I also have a couple of tactics for this, but these are inside the course...
First of all, thanks for the video. 3 weeks ago I published a blog about ukraine nightlife. Sharing my experiences with strip clubs, nightclubs and prostitutes. When you Say “make better the articles where you have over 1000 pv” you mean update them and make then better or rewrite and re direct?
Not redirect. We just wrote it MUCH better and more in-depth now that we know the topics is good!
