Monica Geller and Phoebe Buffay - Friends Topanga Lawrence - Boy Meets World Helen DuBois - Drake & Josh Queen Mary Stuart - Reign Blair Waldorf - Gossip Girl Leslie Knope - Parks and Recreation Cece Parekh - New Girl Temperance Brennan - Bones
Two things: 1. I was hoping they would include the "Grey's Anatomy" wedding dress worn by April Kepner when she was set to marry Matthew the paramedic but ended up running off with Jackson instead. 2. I REALLY wish we got flashbacks of Rachel's wedding to Barry before she made that iconic entrance into the coffee shop.
The Claire Frasier dress is stunning I remember 70s wedding dresses that were long sleeved with lots of crepe and organza my mothers was pretty plain for her 1st wedding for her 2nd wedding in 1983 when I was 9 was white organza with lace overlay pink rosebuds with little faux pearls sewn on
I will always remember Dr. Michaela Quinn’s wedding dress. I loved how the dress itself was part of the storyline. At the last minute combining the pioneer style with the fancy ‘modern’ Boston socialite style.
OMG I was worried that Claires Dress wouldn´t be on list when there was only nr. 1 left😅 but I am so relieved it even made it to first place😍 I am still so in love with that gown
McGee and Delilah!! I love Delilah's dress! It's gorgeous, and I think it really matches her character. I've never seen Reign, but omg when I saw first Mary's dress, I couldn't get over it! It's stunning!!
I loved DJs On fuller house. That was quite an emotional episode: a 2nd series finalie and 3 weddings? And seeing DJ marry Steve felt so right. As a 90s kid i always wanted those 2 together. Impossible to watch without crying.
I haven’t ever been able to see Full House but I still got emotional over their wedding. Having the three besties get married at the same time was so touching
So happy you included Whitley Gilbert on this list! Whitley was the first bride I saw who looked somewhat like me, and I loved the Dwayne-Whitley romance so the wedding episode of A Different World is a standout for me. A shame they called her dress gaudy, though: aside from the puff sleeves, I actually quite like the dress. Actually, this dress is the reason I like long sleeve wedding dresses.
pennies dress very bohemian hippie very 60's blair anything she wears on the show is extra ordinary gorgeous she can rock anything along with cristina from grey's but a lot of these dresses are very elegant mod modern pretty
I knew that at least one Downton Abbey wedding gown had to be listed. I figured it would be Mary’s first one. But Downton Abbey has so many beautiful gowns to choose from. I think Lady Rose’s wedding dress is my favorite from the show. But any of them would be a good choice. They’re all lovely
So you show Leslie Knope’s iconic dress before your list but don’t feature her dress in your countdown??? FAIL!! Also, if you are going to mention Laura’s wedding dress from General Hospital- where is Rhoda’s wedding dress from Rhoda??? That wedding came first and featured the iconic run through the subway scene. Yet again, this countdown suffers from recency bias!
Yes, good ol' Luke and Laura. It's always a spectacle whenever a woman marries the man who raped her. Unfortunately, the writers decided that it was a reasonable idea to have Laura fall in love with the man who brutalized her. It was, and still is, an absolutely disgusting storyline.
Might need to put it in the context of 1981, as well as the fact that even now a real good attorney can get rape charges overturned by claiming his client was drunk. Here's the brief storyline and the decision: Despite having been raped by a drunken Luke, Laura falls in love with him. Originally, critics of the soap opera genre panned the choice of having a rape victim fall in love with her rapist, an example of forced seduction. The unlikely pairing became popular in spite of Luke's past misdeed when the story shifted to focus on love and redemption.
@@louisejohnson6057 Oh I do agree with you. I remember hearing "He was drunk and didn't really mean to do it, so he should be forgiven." I replied "So the feminists say "All In The Family" should go off the air because Edith glorifies women working at home but "General Hospital" is okay because "Laura" forgave her drunken rapist and decided to marry him?" I got called an immature, unromantic prude who didn't understand what the feminist movement was truly about.
@@AlbertaRose94 , no, you seem to grasp the tenets of feminism just fine. I was saying this just yesterday, feminism is about choice. Some women choose to be a homemaker. It's just as valid as any other job. To compare Edith staying home, to Laura decision to marry the man who sexually brutalized her, is just gross. Some people have a very twisted idea of what feminism is truly about. Hey, I forgot to mention this. Your username! I take it you're from Alberta, I currently live in Winnipeg at the moment, but I'm originally from Victoria. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦‼️
@@louisejohnson6057 I’m talking about 1981, not today. I have noticed as this decade has gone one, people are starting to realize that those who stay-at-home to raise a child should be treated with respect, not as second-class citizens.
So you fully admit that there were better wedding dresses on the other ladies on FRIENDS, but you chose Rachel's because of what, nostalgia? I think the real reason here is because even though it was thought of as an ensemble show, Rachel was the unofficial "main character", followed closely by Ross, given their whole series-long "will they, won't they" deal. My choice for best wedding dress, on that show would go to Phoebe.
The title is „most MEMORABLE“ Dresses and Rachel‘s entering with the wedding dress is a very iconic scene. Everybody remembers that scene, so everybody memorizes that dress.
I can picture Rachel’s dress in my head. I can’t picture phoebes in my head. But now that I’ve looked at side by sides yes phoebes dress is gorgeous. But Rachel’s was more memorable
To be fair, all the women listed have amazing bodies so even the outdated 80s dresses looked acceptable. Whereas most of these dresses wouldn’t work for me
I either read or saw an interview where Diana Gabaldon said Claire’s dress was so heavy, Caitriona Balfe couldn’t sit in it and she had to lean against a workhorse between scenes. It weighed about 60 lbs.
I got to stop the video and say how I did not appreciate how they included Whitley's dress and then put it down to too gaudy and unnecessary. Her dress was gorgeous and the hat complimented her hairstyle and the V cut of the dress' neckline.

I was waiting to see this dress at number 1! It far exceeds every other one on this list!!
YES i kind of came hoping to see that one. Plus she looked fabulous in it

I love the show as well
Ehhh... Emma's wedding dress was only memorable for all the wrong reasons...
Yes!! They were both beautiful!!!!
I will always remember Dr. Michaela Quinn’s wedding dress. I loved how the dress itself was part of the storyline. At the last minute combining the pioneer style with the fancy ‘modern’ Boston socialite style.
I love her gown. It was incredible
Yes I agree!!! It was perfect for her and the storyline
Absolutely beautiful I have seen it in person, Cheri Ingle the costume designer did amazing work
I actually prefer Lady Edith's first wedding dress. Also, it's a 90s look but Fran Fine in The Nanny has a geat dress.
@Nicki McAdoo: agreed!
@@donnaleach8119 it was absolutely gorgeous.
THANK YOU FOR PUTTING MARY’s DRESS FROM REIGN ON HERE IT IS MY DREAM DRESS I WANT AN EXACT REPLICA!!
OMG I was worried that Claires Dress wouldn´t be on list when there was only nr. 1 left😅 but I am so relieved it even made it to first place😍 I am still so in love with that gown
The wedding dress in the 1993 TV episode of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman should be on this list too.
McGee and Delilah!! I love Delilah's dress! It's gorgeous, and I think it really matches her character. I've never seen Reign, but omg when I saw first Mary's dress, I couldn't get over it! It's stunning!!
EXCUSE ME NO LESIE KNOPE????? MOST ICONIC WEDDING DRESS OF ALL TIME
Maybe I missed it, but was Leslie Knope's dress nowhere on the list?!
That dress was not only pretty, but perfectly embodied the character.
I loved DJs On fuller house. That was quite an emotional episode: a 2nd series finalie and 3 weddings? And seeing DJ marry Steve felt so right. As a 90s kid i always wanted those 2 together. Impossible to watch without crying.

Ahhh the friends is absolutely my favorite
Fran Fine, The Nanny!
Piper's wedding gown in season 3 of the og charmed is one of my favorites

Diana’s from a discovery of witches was so pretty.
I love Becky’s dress in Full House as well as Monica’s wedding dress.
Same
Eww
Can't believe Fran Sheffield didn't make your list!
Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding dress was most memorable for me. What a scene!
Please make a video on Top 10 Runaway brides moments.
Whitley’s dress was ICONIC🤩👏🏾 I would wear it now if it wasn’t dated but couldn’t nobody pull that up but jasmine guy
Amy on The Big Bang Theory that one was definitely memorable
Man guys Anya wedding dress in season 6 of Buffy the vampire slayer was so beautiful.
Beckett had three wedding outfits on Castle. My favorite was the one she actually got married in and it was pants- just perfect.
Caroline’s from The Vampire Diaries was beautiful as well🥹
I think Beckett's dress from Castle should have been much higher on the list. It was absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I'm so happy they included Delilah from NCIS 😍😍😍
Donna Tubbs Brown In The Cleveland Show Negative reception aside I enjoyed most of 4 season run and watch reruns on Comedy Central and FXX
Angel’s wedding dress in “Pose”.
Freinds, Degrassi Spike’s dress, and Lorelai’s wedding dress.
Why is Buffy’s dress in her “dream” (as it was a dream) wedding to Angel not on this list?
pennies dress very bohemian hippie very 60's blair anything she wears on the show is extra ordinary gorgeous she can rock anything along with cristina from grey's but a lot of these dresses are very elegant mod modern pretty
The Fellon dress in Dynasty was perferct. The best of all.
You should have included Grace's wedding dress from Will and Grace. Vera Wang and gorgeous. 💗
Fran Fine, The Nanny
How is Fran’s wedding dress from The Nanny not on this list? Her dress was stunning. Easily should’ve been towards the top of this list.
Outdated

The murderously haunted wedding dress from the series finale of "Wynonna Earp" is missing (but this is a MsMojo list so I'm not surprised).
Once again Star Trek DS9 gets snubbed! Jadzia's red wedding gown for her Klingon style wedding to Worf should have made the list!
I was just thinking “I hope Topanga will be on this list” and then Number 10 showed up and I jumped out of my chair! 😂
Beautiful 😊

Yeah it was my favorite on the list, but all they did was talk about how old fashioned it was
Yeah, the narrator clearly has something against the dresses with a lot of beading/embellishments.
No offense, but most of those dresses were ugly and boring. And how can The Nanny’s wedding dress not be on this list?
DR. QUINN and THE NANNY

I would of put Major Margaret Houlihan from mash
I hope fuller house is there
It’s a crime that April’s gown from Grey’s Anatomy is not included.
a lot of nice dresses but jenifers wedding dress at friends was a big no go
The land of pretending to work where the white wedding dress is-
The worst one was the one worn by Bea Arthur in the series finale of Golden Girls. It looked like it was made of toilet paper.
