Maksim is AMAZING. It is ASTONISHING to know that he can play piano so incredibly well. Possibly the best pianist in history. I must say, the entire orchestra behind him..gah, those people are very lucky to be playing along with such an amazing musician. There is nothing I wouldn't do to watch Maksim live. You can almost read his life and mind when he plays. This is gorgeous. I love watching him play. So amazing, so amazing.

I first knew Maxim in his piano piece which was Somewhere in Time. Just today I found out his a great pianist when I listen his playing Exodus. I can say he made me became his fan in playing the piano. He is super great pianist.

Beautiful rendition, I remember this from my youth at my grandparents’ house. I think it was the same or similar piano version. Anyone who knows the story can appreciate the miracle that happened there, the parting of the red seas that allowed the Israelites to escape their enemies, and they could also appreciate one of the lesser known things, that God wept for his lost children, but there was nothing He could do to make them stop their choices, but to take them beyond the veil. And he had to save the more obedient children. Not always obedient, but more so. He could not allow their destruction, for they were to save themselves, and carry on His work of saving the souls of men.

Excellent interpretation of the theme I love so much; and with the youthful beat for the enjoyment of the younger people no less. For the lovers of piano renditions and the theme of Exodus I recommend listening to the George Greeley arrangement issued by the Warner Brothers label. I can only think that copyright issues are keeping this masterpiece from appearing on you tube. I have the vinyl LP but at this time I am not able to do what is necessary to upload this jewel for everyone to enjoy; after experiencing the George Greeley version all other renditions leave me wanting more.
