if you mean a psn account when you say "ps3 profile," then yeah it'd work
I've read RB2 customs for PS3 don't work on console yet, is that still correct?

Have you noticed that the solo sections don't work for some songs?
solo markers have worked just fine on every song I've tested
quick note: just because there is a section named "solo" in a song, it doesn't mean it has a solo *marker*, the midi note (103) that rock band uses to start/stop a solo
clone hero .chart songs that have solo start and end events will get correctly converted to note 103
@@LysiX the solo buttons didn't work because of a bug still unsolved on RPCS3 controller config, effect selector switch makes the solo buttons stop working on SOLOS.

also the original comment clearly said sections not buttons
@@LysiX I made the original comment with another account, at that time, I didn't explain it correctly. I do the solo sections using the solo buttons, when you move the effect switch found in a rock band guitar, the solo buttons stop working. (you don't need to fret during solos while using the solo buttons, but the bug make the solos stop working).
my only issue is it doesnt let me make a DTA file it just still a text document

@@LysiX Thank you so much for the tip. The only thing now is I got it to show on my game but when I select the song it says something about not able to read the song. I'm not sure why its not working at this point.

How do you export the rb1 songs into rb2
by downloading the rb1 export key then exporting with the built in export feature in rb1

Hmm, for some reason at the fixer part the script isn't copying the weights file into the song, is it sufficent enough just to manually copy it or i have to fix out the issue?
EDIT: Okay i ended up taking like 3 songs and putting weights in them, in game it gives error of 'The song data you were accessing has become unavalable' ,so i guess this is my primary issue now.
EDIT 2: Might have not actually manually did it right, still script doesn't seem to work [or at least skips the weights file]
the script only works with directories that don't have spaces, so either your songs folder is in a folder with spaces, or the weights.bin, or both

@@LysiX Okay figured what it was, i already noted my script was in a proper folder, but i was confused why it hadn't worked.
Then i looked at your video again and at a point where you use rebuilder i noticed that unlike you... i had errors about Java.
So now customs work, and all it was is that i didn't have Java so neither worked... so, thats a reminder to reinstall Java.
Anyway thanks, the method ended up working.

I will make a note in the description that the EDAT rebuilder requires Java, good catch!
