I'll explain it for you Oral. In every agreement/contract the element of time must be considered. Bailey said he is taking a break and gave no specific time frame. That put JFF in a position to wait on Bailey to make his mind up. Bad place for the Federation to be in. Officially suspending Bailey's call-up puts the onus on Bailey to BEG to play for the National team and also extinguishes the expectations of the Bailey's fans that want to see him picked for Jamaica.

it makes sense. If someone takes too many days off from work, the boss will fire that worker. makes plenty sense. the governing authority has to make it clear that the persons behavior is unacceptable. maybe that's what the person wanted, but the authority has to act accordingly.

That js not true. A player can tell the federal to not consider him or her for future selection indefinitely or until further notice. The federation irrespective of the situation at are saving face.
