    I just saw the map. He started at inuvik at the artic ocean then down the mackenzie river all across the northwest teritories across hudsons bay and over northern quebec and labrador. Hes crazy. That took balls. Right across the far north. Hes probobally the only one ever to do that.

    Lars Monsen ! His Determination and skillset is just amazing. And he comes across as a very humble and nice guy. He is so hard core he does not need to prove anything for anyone... Thats what I call a real viking !

    Watched this series a few years back, absolutely incredible, not many people in this world could trek across Canada's wilderness like this, from west to east.

    Lars Monsen is a great role model. I had the pleasure of joining him (and nine others) on a 3-day packraft trip in the summer of 2022. An experience of a lifetime!

    He is currently training to compete in The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.
    He hosted a reality tv show named "ingen grenser"(No Limits). He helped people with severe physical disabilities through the Norwegian wilderness to climb mountain.(Snøhetta)

    The Arnold Schwarzennegar of the Wilderness. Bear Gryllis and Les Stroud could only grovel at such feats. The spirit of adventure and pioneering still lives!

    • @fdannn6926
      @fdannn6926 6 лет назад

      Les Stroud is a great survivalist, put him in a jungle, tundra, desert, mountain etc and he will not only survive but thrive, no need to bash him. Bear Grylls though..yea he's a fake.

    Great series. Still, the book tells a lot more of what he had to endure.

    • @Battlenude
      @Battlenude 2 месяца назад

      Yep, he though he would freeze to death at the start of his journey. And he was attacked by a Bear, it came almost inside his tent, he had to shoot it close call. He endured intolerable back pain on several ocations due to overstraining his body, could not even get out of his tent. Lay inside and cried. Used up all his painkillers.. but still the mindset, he kept going!
      Mad respect!

    Worst subtitles ever. Did you just google translate it all because most of it is wrong. Glad I'm Norwegian so I don't have to watch this with these terrible subtitles.
