He is one of the worst DPS for sure but he can still clear all content and he is fun, both sets work fine on him lingering tunes is only like 5% better if you are playing in a team. If you want to solo stuff with him freezing frost set will be stronger.
50% crit rate doesn't do this boy justice. Will be interesting to see what he can do with more premium options in the future.

Does more damage because of the outro skill buff + the echo does not have a long animation, you can do damage while it is being used.
Also lingyang's kit gives a lot of Glacio DMG bonus. It's better to run attack
