Gang Staking Procedures

Tent staking methods for greater holding power
As soil conditions can vary greatly even within a single site, additional staking methods may be required for adequate holding power to be achieved. Gang staking, or staking that utilizes both stakes and stake plates, can prove extremely effective in most situations. Both regular ratchet straps and box ratchets may be used with gang staking; box ratchets would be staked underneath any stake plates used.
