The Deus II is actually the one I was looking at. I understand it is _the_ machine at the moment for the beach. That was a luck cat. Always feed or treat a luck cat. The Deus II is my favorite detector. I have 2 I like them so much. Faster than my Nox 600 for sure. That mystery piece looks like an early radio dial escutcheon. Nice video!

I would feel like I was going back to school trying to learn what that dream machine is capable of doing! And it would be so good in a heavily mineralized area like mine from what I have seen of it.

So it was a change from Minelabs, but Deus II can find silver behind the E-Trac. The Equinox doesn't leave as much behind though.
Great couple days out! I would love to get an XP Deus 2! I just can't pull the trigger on it yet. I use the first XP Deus pretty much exclusively all the time and I love that detector.
I have had my deus 2 since they came out so going on 2 years now. I've used a lot of machines and it is by far the best I've used. When you get it dialed in, it's unbeatable. I have several programs I have made dependent upon what site or type of hunting I'm doing.

They lowered the price to 1450. That's a steal at that price. I dug 3 gold rings, s good chain, and almost 100 silvers this year. I dug day out paid for itself already!

Ive got a Manticore and IMO its the best on the market way more stable than the Deus 2 and with the update im pulling coins out of iron patches the dues couldnt hear. Both good machines just seems the Manticore has the edge. Thats just my opinion like Ford Vs Chevy lol
Did you perform a frequency shift (noise cancel) en ground grab (ground balance)? I’m pretty sure the D2 can run more quiet than this. It is the best machine out there, better than the Manticore imho. The Manticore might be a little bit deeper, and might have some advantages on small pieces of gold. But the D2 gives you more targets in you pocket at the end of the day, and that is what counts. The Equinox 800 is not a fast machine, you need swing it slow(er) to use it to full potential. The Deus 1 is faster then the Nox 800, the Nox 800 is a bit deeper. But deeper will not let you find more at the end of the day (it might even slow you down).
I was skeptical going with the Deus 2 first impressions wasn't very good. But after I learned it I'm not switching ever again. I love it and it is very stable. Noise cancel ground balance would take care of the emi he has. I run mine in the fluty tones and fast.
Just found my first silver coin yesterday and it was a 1946 Rosie!!! I am loving the Nox 700 I got off you guys!!!

D2 is an Awesome Beach Machine!.....after the learning curve you will Love it 👍

Just know, the Equinox can hit the Deus 2 with “silent EMI” and blind it to targets. Make sure to noise cancel it around any MineLab machine.

Sorry but I love my Minelab 900. I will probably always have a Minelab. Started with a Garrett and went to a Minelab 3030, 800, manticore & a 900.
