I am incredibly disappointed to hear that the Welcome Committee Frankie has been postponed, I've been super excited to get them, I've been saving money and I just genuinely love their design. This is upsetting Mattel

I've heard that Welcome Committee Frankie was originally a Target exclusive, but after last year's backlash regarding Target's Pride displays, Target doesn't want to carry this doll anymore.

Yeah, I think they are afraid of any other issues. That sad situation with the pride merchandise caused them a ton of money and backlash. I actually feel bad for them as they were trying to do something good 😢

hissfits do indeed have saran hair! i unboxed mine yesterday and can confirm it feels like saran on all 3 dolls. 😁 also my purrsephone’s face is fine, not wonky at all.
I still think it wouldve been better to have G3 Toradeen comic for pride month.
Maybe Mattel is just testing it with G1 to see how fans would react to it, because if so that's not the same thing, Clawdeen and Toralei's character and relationships are completely different from each gen.

I still like the potions, but I still haven't gotten any yet so we'll see. I think spectra is fantastic all over while they're similar it's not IDENTICAL to midnight runway. the hissfits are available at specialty retailers only so while entertainment earth got theirs first big bad toy store had preorders too. There are possibly a few other stores but because of how limited these are I doubt they'll ever be for sale at international retailers 😢. The kill star collab is neat, but like you said it doesn't feel inspired. What's more is while they made some things in plus sizes I don't think alot of these pieces are universally flattering. At least when they did a few clothes with hot topic some of this stuff was available in stores. This collab wudn't be such a disappointment if there was just more monster high fashion around. But like we've ONLY gotten that haunt couture thing at hot topic and we've ONLY gotten this. And like a few pieces at spirit Halloween of all places no joke they're slowly becoming their own fashion retailer lol I got the Frankie argyle vest

I’d 😢find Spectra, and not sure about the Hissfits yet. As to the comic, I’m not sure if I will get it as I don’t ship Torelai and Clawdeen. If it’s g3 maybe, but not g1. Torelai was sooo hateful to Draculaura who is Clawdeen’s friend. She was really just a mean person, and even Clawdeen didn’t like her. I just can’t get over it.

Kill star clothing is very controversial because the owner has been known to be racist and homophobic in the past, as well as poor customer service and quality control.
