      Nip has giants as well just a little harder to find than Quinte.

    Every fish you caught is bleeding… most are hooked in the lip. I know you’re a pro but careful grabbing around the gills. They shouldn’t be bleeding like that with how they are hooked. Not trying to be a Karen your videos are great, just care about the big mommas. Nice work anyways

      Fish bleed way more in cold water. Pretty sure they will survive without a problem.

      I use to love the buckshot spoons but now all I use are the frostbite scissor kicks when I need a rattling bait. It’s like a buckshot on steroids with the props on them. Worth a try if you haven’t already

    Nice work. I havent been to quinti in quite a few years. Nothing like setting hook and all you feel is weight. Biggest was 32.5 inches long and 12.85 lbs caught first week of January.

      @CastandConquer you probably don't need but one word of advice for people fishing quinti for first time is watch the weather prior to your trip. If the river rises because of melt off or rain it will erode the ice very quickly. When i caught that fish we were fishing 7inches the day before and I had to put transducer 6 7ft upstream to see my rap alarm. Next day it was 3.5 4inches.
      Hay bay is safer all around if those conditions happen in the main channel

      It’s an overlay that you do. Then use chroma key to remove the blue to overlay.

    In the intro, you mentioned that you were using the Deadbolt but later on, you said it was a Digger. I like the bigger size Raps and Pimples as well but was just wondering which one it was for sure. Great video...tight lines🤙🏻

      I have about 6-8 rods with me any given day but I was using both the deadbolt and digger. The digger is the ultimate rod for big raps and spoons

    from 1 ice angler to another. Put a couple pepperchinni and a spoon full of the juice in your soup, I use the unico brand. I cut em up with sissors.
    I’m tellin ya, it warms up the bones.
    My favorite is a chicken enchilada soup out on the ice. Cougino’s is the brand.

      Gold and black
      Silver and blue
      Or perch patterns
      These are naturals and are always my three starting points

    Nice eyes...but hold your rod like you're walleye fishing bud 🤦🏼‍♂️ That perch/pan fish grip drives me nuts! Sorry to critique and is personal opinion but good way to lose a good one.

      I’ll work on that. But when you catch walleyes this big everyday you know what you can hold it how you want. But I’m sure you’ll never achieve fish of this caliber so keep holding out those 20” fish and wishing

      I’d say a bit higher than 50%. She was back fast and it was minor bleeding from the gills.
