Been enjoying the list. Some I listened on drive to visit family in Missouri, so didn't comment. But I always enjoy hearing how games change or shift in people's perspectives. Thanks.
I feel like Oathsworn will always be my #1 recommendation to anyone looking for a campaign /boss battler. Its so darn good and accessible. Then when someone has graduated from Oathsworn its all about Aeon Trespass Odyssey.
Top 100 soundtrack recommendations to Board Games sounds great! But then wouldn't every Fantasy board game use either the Lord of the Rings or Conan the Barbarian soundtrack?
I try to evaluate the theme of the Boardgame and looking for kind of similiar Genres, Inis with Nordic Ambient or Irish folk, Parks with Western instrumentals, tyrants of the underdark with dark themed Soundtracks
It would be also interesting to see a list of some sort that includes games that gave you an overall experience whether or not you will go back to them or not. So rating the game kind of like a movie. Might be difficult but just an idea. I know some board games are inherently made to go back to, but if you were to take replayability out of the equation and you could still rate it that would be interesting to me at least. Maybe just a top 20 campaign/legacy list?
BGC top 100 crossover with my collection continues: 16) Spectacular (not in our possession yet but should ship from Miniature Market in January so I’m counting it!), 17) Oathsworn, 18) TTR Legends of the West, 19) Watergate, 20) Valeria Card Kingdoms, 21) 7 Wonders Duel
Alex, just to clarify, you started at the bottom of the list so this video completes the bottom half and then we'll be on to the top half. I thought it was important that we clear that up before continuing! 😂 As far as collection crossovers, my overall under-performance continues but the trend is up as I actually have 2 crossovers from this video. Collection: 6) Through the Ages and 7) Valeria: Card Kingdoms. I've been interested in getting Watergate and Paris: The City of Light... should those count?
I only own 7 Wonders Duel from this list, and just got LOTR Duel for Christmas. The former is in my top 10 or 15, and I imagine the latter will likely be even better. I've played Valeria Card Kingdoms a few times and enjoyed that one. Watergate seems interesting, and I've considered getting the Through the Ages app. TTR Legacy is one I considered getting.
To me, seems like the big difference is that in a skirmish game, you control all the units, including weak minions. In a MOBA game, the weaker minions are automated and you don’t control them and usually only control a single “hero”
Through the ages is an amazing game - but I wouldn’t recommend playing it live. Too long, too many admin mistakes. The iOS/steam app is amazing allowing cross play between different platforms. Well worth the $16 or whatever.

Valeria. NOW you’re talking. I played this game recently and was shocked how much I like it. Fantastic.
It's so much fun!
I am 10000% in for soundtrack recommendations per game

Choosing the right soundtrack for the game on the table is fun, 100% part of the board game experience.
0:19 No, this is the bottom half of the list! We are close to the top half!
Can’t wait to get stuck into Oathsworn. Hopefully will finish painting in time for February
It's great :)
Man can't wait to see the rest of the list please post faster ❤❤

I'm totally down for this, too!!! Please, I want to know, now!
"That is basically Spectacular" - that's what people say about me when I do literally anything
Board game co. Literally the only videos I consider watching at .75 speed 😂
Thanks Alex. Awesome list
Glad you enjoyed :)

Do more than a top 10 game soudtracks, top 30 idk that sounds great.
Legacy Ticket sounds like fun.
It is :)
I thought oathsworn would have been higher!
Revive deserves more love.
Lord of the Rings Duel looks cool. I do enjoy the older sibling, but I might have to switch it out.
Why not both :)
BGG News: Board Game reviewer Alex of BoardGameCo tares rotator cuff lifting big box legacy game with one arm, petitions for smaller box games.

@@BonsaiNut Agreed. Also there's typically a tug of war like thing going on with each player trying to capture or control their opponents side.
Top 10 lost for soundtracks would be awesome!!!!
Board game soundtracks!! 😮
Four 2-player games, as he skips over 7 Wonders Duel twice 😂
Well I have 5.5 of the games in this 10. I have both Duels 😎
Nice :)
