My daughter is also an incoming freshie. She got accepted into ADMU's BS Management Honors with Directors List Scholarship worth 100K per year. She learned about this April 6. Next is UP Diliman on April 19 for BS Business Administration and Accountancy. Then DLSU on May 4 for BS Accountancy with Animo Grant Scholarship worth 120K per year. All of these were her 1st choices. Then on May 30, she was invited for interview for UP Manila's IntarMed program. Likely she was just waitlisted for this program. Finally on June 16, she passed the DOST SEI Scholarship exam but sadly she will not avail because her final choice program is not in the DOST priority list. She only took 3 college entrance exams.

I haven't finished the video yet, but I saw the part where you said nursing was your first choice. My advice is, if you pursue nursing, make sure to work outside the Philippines afterward. I'm 36 years old, went to UP and other schools, have been to many countries, and have heard many stories from nurses-both relatives, friends, and others. Take that advice, and good luck! I wish you the best.

Thank you! 🤗 And nope, I didn't pay for anything since all my application fees were waived with the help of my guidance counselor, and I didn't take the SAT & IELTS (around ₱19k if I'm not mistaken). However, if you're really looking to study abroad, you will most likely need to take the paid exams since they're usually part of the requirements, or, if not, will give you a better shot at getting admitted and receiving scholarships.

I'm so clueless po rn and I'm also scared na hindi ako makapasa sa mga university na gusto ko... I want to try big 4 but i don't know how...

Hello! I applied via Common App (www.commonapp.org) for my applications abroad. All my scholarship offers were merit-based (dependent on your grades), so I didn't need to apply for them separately. Di ko na rin kinailangan magbayad for application fees since your school guidance counselor can waive them for you, so reach out ka lang sakanila. ☺
Regarding the Big 4 applications, sadly, nag-end na ang application for UP since UPCAT 2025 is scheduled this August na 🥹 However, you can still try for UST, DLSU, and ADMU :) Abang ka lang sa Facebook pages nila for announcements on when and how you can start applying. All Big 4 had onsite examinations, but for DLSMHSI, you can take it online if you live far from the campus like what I did. Good luck! 🤞🏻
