Because the German cameras of the time were of extremely amazing quality, and the Nazi party spared no expense for this work.
Even today, the modern cameras are often made of cheaper material.

Man I keep comming back to this year after year. Theres something unbelievably amazing about this song combined with Riefenstahls photography. It feels like the ultimate celebration of the physical being of mankind - the amount of joy of sports and bodily wellness this photage exudes is indescribable. And then theres the sinister undertones of the nazi cruelty lurking below, bringing a whole other dimension to the beautiful photage. The best music video I've ever seen by a long shot. The way the photage matches the beat and intensity of the song is amazing and the guitar melody with the divers in the outro is just heavenly. A total work if art, i never get tired if watching/listening to this 11/10 :D

How can this be better than the original RS music video?? This has superior shot selection, editing and super clear footage. Amazing work whoever did this 👍
well, take in mind the footage is a film from the 30s not really for the music video
they were very slective when they chose the footage for the original RS music video, they had to tread lightly so they didnt stir the pot to much, considering the media thought their first album cover had them portrayed as "übermensch" both are great, but this one i think justifies the real olympics more!

I am from former Soviet Union, so some issues touches me a lot, but I have to admit that Lady Director did the great job of filming these games. In 1936 it was amazing. And it is amazing now. I had this on dvd back in the day. "Rammstein: Live Aus Berlin", the dvd included locked easter egg bonus videos if i remember correctly. it required a weird combination of keys on the remote. was very interesting of a dvd. that is why there is 2 versions of this video. the other video was included on the dvd "Rammstein: Lichtspielhaus " but was not hidden. unless you owned both dvds you'd never know this :D but yeah 2 versions of strpped by rammstein.
