Dr. Carson is a gifted man of God, a credit to his faith, to science, and to mankind. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. Our prayers are with you.
he reminds me of George Washington Carver...a great scientist who has wed his science to his communion with God, and is working....miracles....give us men like him. what power in such humility.
Sometimes trying to put someone on the shit list ends up with getting shit all over yourself. Congratulations Dr Carson. Its time to stand up to the bullies that think they own the halls of academia.
First of all - this guy is a DOCTOR, ok? He's business is CURING people. If darwinism was any use to him what so ever, he probably would not have any doubts about it. I.e:Darwinism is superfluous in the study of biology. Secondly, this guy expressed his personal opinion, which he has every right to hold.He does not have to construct a rigorous argument to defend his position, because he has no interest in propagating it.There are other scientists who does that, it's not in his field of interest
Of course that's what reason is all about the position of atheism is based on the consideration of evidence and rejecting it based on it's lack of merits. Also would it be reasonable to assume there is no gravity, there are limits to which a person can be rationally sceptical. It's ok to questions things if you think the science in wrong but this guy questions evolution but no based on science but rather his faith with holds no weigh in the realm of science
It was great to hear Dr. Carson's keynote speech at Emory's Commencement in person last Monday. What an inspiring men for new graduates to emulate!
I greatly appreciate Ben Carson's desire for excellence while seeking humility in everything he does.

Such wisdom and yet it is so filled with common sense that any of us can take and use in our own lives.
Rational : From the word "ratio", meaning to weigh an argument against the counter argument before making a conclusion.
One of the best speeches I've heard.

Love this guy!
Wonder if those Siamese twins had to pay for both tuitions.
They were not going to let him speak there because of his religious views but the students insisted, thus 9:56 and so on

Nor do they know the meaning of human decency. Good for Emory University to not cave into those irrational fearmongers.
I don't care about him or what athiest said or did answer my question how are atheists not rational
So define rational
I cannot believe Atheists tried to ban this hero from being honored at Emory School. What heartless bullies!
