How do you prove that a sunken ship was the result of being scuttled? I am just saying that if the Jumbo were scuttled, it would have to be the result of meticulous calculations.
This is a tricky case study, because what you'll consider "best" really depends upon what your research interests are! There are ample circumstantial evidence providing a basis for inference about the fact in dispute. A court ruling is not impossible.
