Italian and spanish are the two closest languages in the world
Portuguese is very similar too. I'm Brazilian, I'm learning english and italian, and I also never studied spanish, but I understood 95% of what she said. I can't speak spanish, but I usually can understand it very well, except if the person is speaking too fast.

Actually Spanish is closer to Portuguese (Brazilian). But congrats on understanding her, languages that come from Latin are usually very similar so it is easier for someone inside this linguistic area to understand them.

Those fillers and idiosyncrasies that you mention are so much a part of the culture of each Spanish speaking country and is what makes us each a bit different while at the same time appreciative of those differences............ and similarities! Being a Mexican, of course I'm glad you chose the Mexican accent (with the Nahuatl influence) of the Castilian Spanish we speak in Mexico. Castilian Spanish is the official language of most of Central and South American countries.

I'd just suggest you to try not using so much "yo" at the start of the video, in spanish, sometimes you can speak without saying/pointing out the subject. Only that, you are doing great!

I struggle with conjugation!! Especially irregular verbs. Can you make some sort of video covering an easy way to pick up conjugating in Spanish. I’m starting a level spanish in 5 week and I need to know ser, estar and tener and I don’t know them off the top of my head

I'm almost 15 and I'm always saying that other people started learning language s when they was 10 11 but you are 14 😭😭😭💔
@@agirl2270 I started learning German when I was 17 and started learning chinese when I was 19. Today I am totally fluent in German and at an intermediate level of fluency in Chinese. Age doesn't matter. If it takes you three years to learn a language (which can be done in one year, like for my German), If you start learning languages at 20 years, at 30 years, you will be speaking 3 more languages as before.

Elysse, mi nombre es Eduardo, padre de cuatro hijos, dos nacidos en Mexico y dos aqui en los EU, y despues de 28 años viviendo aqui en Dallas en contacto con mucha gente de toda latinoamerica y España e incluso de Brazil, te aseguro que tu español es magnifico y tu acento tambien, y no necesitas preocuparte por hablar el "mexicano" apegada al libro porque de alguna manera "todos" los mexicanos al tener una cultura familiar en donde se pueden combinar nacionalides distintas o bien ambitos culturales variados que resultan en acentos un poco peculiares, de modo que no hace falta esforzarnos por hablar un español con acento exacto, sino mas bien natural, si lo disfrutas resulta natural, de modo que va a ser tuyo personal, o sea que no intentamos hablar español disfrasado de mexicano, simplemente lo hablamos y nos comunicamos, y en ti suena muy natural. ¡Muchas felicidades por tu aniversario!

Obviamente tu sabes que tu español esta a un nivel muy alto. FELICITACIONES..! Sin duda alguna un Hispanohablante se da cuenta que no es tu idioma nativo pero Es impresionante. Aunque tienes un claro acento Mexicano ;)

One time as I spoke with two women from Spain after my gig told my Spanish sounded from Andalucía. I speak how I speak....i don't worry about switching regions...over the years learning about other dialects is great.

Soy mexicana y es la primera vez que veo tus vídeos (llegué por tu vídeo de hablando alemán todos los días durante dos meses) y sinceramente me sentí súper identificada contigo porque desde muy pequeña me gustan muchísimo los idiomas y en 18 años es la primera vez que me animo a estudiar uno nuevo (alemán, A1.4) porque desde muy pequeña me han enseñado inglés entonces no recuerdo lo que es aprender un idioma jajaja pero espero pronto poder iniciar el francés, japonés, coreano, italiano, ruso y a lo mejor hasta griego.
Cuando entré a tu canal y vi que hablabas tantos idiomas me diste como ese empujoncito que me faltaba para poco a poco convertirme en políglota e irme desenvolviendo más con el speaking, ya que es una de las cosas que más pena me dan y justo por eso mi inglés no es perfecto :( También me inspiraste a ser youtuber jajajaja ya que es algo que también quiero ser desde hace años pero.. idk no me animo.

Something similar happened to me. I mean, I wanted to study chemistry and English when I was in high school. I ended up studying languages and I love painting, drawing, writing and singing. I didn’t have many friends back then but thanks to languages I became more outgoing and talkative. I used to taught English and French in a local university in my city a couple years ago. Nowadays I do something different but I really enjoy teaching. We have some similar past events and I hope you’re great.

Desde mi muy particular punto de vista, tomaste una de las mejores decisiones, es decir, aprender, valorizar, enseñar y reivindicar el idioma castellano - español.
Porque, recordemos y no olvidemos que esta lengua es la más hablada en América y la más hablada en el Hemisferio Occidental, por el número de hablantes nativos.
Así como también, es la lengua romance más hablada del planeta, por el número total de hablantes; es la segunda más hablada del mundo, por el número de hablantes nativos; y es la cuarta más hablada del globo por el número total de hablantes :)

Discúlpenme que me meta a corregir, pero ella no tiene descendencia española, desciende de españoles, por lo tanto, tiene ascendencia española. Ella misma ha usado la palabra "ascendencia". Sólo lo aclaro para que se entienda la diferencia, sin ánimo de querer señalar errores.

Soy Mexicana, debo decir que tu acento es bastante bueno, incluso la Ñ la puedes pronunciar bien y tienes ciertos "slangs" que nosotros usamos y eso me encanta, no cualquier persona que aprende español entiende nuestros "slangs". Naturalmente puedes comunicarte con cualquier hispanoparlante, pero necesitas seguir puliendo; tu progreso es muy bueno, sigue practicando. Por mi parte te pude entender bastante bien, sigue así.
Cuando mencionó sus ojos mueven en el video, lo paré y comprobé el video en tiktok donde yo hablé español. Sí. Sí, yo lo hago todavía.
