As a Villa fan, Jack is one the most over rated players I have ever seen. He only looked great in a championship Villa team, we did better when he left. He’s a one trick pony.

Tbf, Jack had several injuries this season so again, the media here is omitting that fact for their own narrative OR they’re simply ignorant of that fact in which case they shouldn’t be speaking on it. That of course doesn’t absolve Jack of their overriding point, but it does add some context to it.
For me, Jack is gun shy. He’s great for possession, control, tracking back and getting fouls but that’s about it. He needs to produce a bit more and should have a go at opposition like Doku does if he wants to fight for his spot, otherwise, I could see Jack fading into the irrelevant at City and moving on. All up to him but I think he’s got the skill and talent it’s just wether he’ll give it a try or not

He will never be a regular starter at city and he doesnt suit the rigid style, he's a maverick and needs freedom on the ball. Newcastle or Spurs would be a good fit for him. Ideally I'd love to see him come back to villa, unlikely due to finances but it would be perfect for all involved

Jack Grealish leaving Manchester City is a bit of a step down in his career. From the perspective of a player, you want to be part of a winning team you play the game to win trophies and when you play for Manchester City you’re guaranteed that every season, at the same time you want to be playing regularly and not be sitting on the bench every time. The reason why I said that Grealish is wasting his career at Manchester City is because for someone who cost over 100 million and is one of the most expensive players in the world, you shouldn’t be content with sitting on the bench. I know that he’s had some injuries to deal with and obviously it doesn’t help which has caused a lack of consistency and continuity, when fit he seems to have fallen down the pecking order and at times Jeremy Doku has been preferred over Grealish.
He has been in and out of the team and sometimes he doesn’t even play. He is nothing more than just a squad player and this comes 12 months after he helped them win the treble and it’s a testament to how much quality Manchester City have in their team when you can go from a key player to be rotting the bench and he makes more headlines for his off field antics than what he does on the pitch. He is very lucky to even make the England squad for the EUROs due to the fact that he hasn’t even played a lot this season. Similar to others, he’ll eventually lose his place in the national team if he continues to see little to no game time at club level because you can’t get away with warming the bench and then expecting to get called up to the national team. Maybe he should go back to Aston Villa if things don’t change at Man City.
