Dragging my 302 engine out of storage and disassembling it so I can get it to the Machine Shop. Needs to be punched out and cleaned up to start the 347 #automobile #diy #v8
@@rickgaine3476 for right now it will be going in the Ranger with nitrous. If it survives, then it will get transplanted into the Mustang unless I build another one.
my original date coded correct 289 for my 65 Mustang has been sitting under the workbench for over 20 years now. I've considered turning it into a 331 or 347 and putting it back in the car, but that seems like too much work. The motor has been wrapped in plastic since I took it out of the car. It's sitting on a custom-made rolling engine dolly. I guess I should unwrap it make sure it at least still spins over. I'm considering selling the block and complete engine actually, because I don't think I'll ever have a use for a 289 again. just lots of things going through my mind. My 302 runs quite nicely, so no need to replace it.
nice
I love the wheels
It's going to be a great engine!
@@greggsvintageworkshop8974 yes yes yes indeed it will be good! It should push this old turd down the road pretty good
Nice job. Interesting to see what it's like when finished. Is this going in the Mustang, or the Ranger?

@@rickgaine3476 I’d love to find a 289 block. They will hold more horsepower since they’re the older thicker casting
If blind luck doesn’t want it. I may if you decide to get rid of it. 😂😂😂 I need another one.
