Loved the FedEx movements. Although the feeder feet is not included, FedEx is really a legacy airline, and one and only legacy cargo airline.

Yes me too. I love this company, they have been so good to me. I never in my life had the privilege of ever saying before “I love my job” with my previous other employers I worked for in the past. FedEx Express has transformed my quality of life for the way better, even financially. I have to give them credit for that and I’ll be forever grateful🥹I feel that I’m good at what I do and so far I love what I do. Now I fully understand the old saying that goes along the lines: “ not everyone has the luxury of saying they love their job like I do” Thank you

I live and Memphis and the planespotting here is amazing. you get MD-10Fs, MD-11Fs, A300, 757, 767, 777 and occasional CRJs, 737s and a320s/319s
Model numbers for MD-10's are MD-10 10's and '30's NOT letters. We have MD-11F's and possibly some BCF's.(Conversions) I cannot tell the difference and I have flown in them many times.

Memphis is the worlds busiest Airport after midnight. It is so very interesting to observe all of the FDX planes that come in and then leave about 3 hrs later and then cycle in and out again twice during the daylight hours.

Seems like it was some older footage. They stopped flying 727's in 2013 unfortunately.

Image search on DC 8 confirms it.
you're thinking UPS retired theirs in 2009, now granted they operated about half the remaining flying DC-8s at the time, but some still do fly, but now pretty much never ever see one, back when this was filmed they were a little more common

They have public tours every night at 11pm till......or at least they used to have them. I lived there for a while when in college.

Aero B you should check it out...it's a nice view of seeing all the airplane in Memphis airport of them...my brother lives by the airport and you can hear around midnight all the planes loading up and flying out each night..

TheSolnabo: FedEx ordered a bunch of 767-300s and 777s. Their [incoming] 767-300s will replace their A310s and MD-10s. In short...not sure that the -400s were ever in consideration.
