Very nostalgic arcade game that robbed me of many quarters.
Another great four-player game that featured the classic wrestlers from WWF.
If you see my energy levels mysteriously returning to full, it's because using another credit replenishes it which you pretty much have to do in order to beat the game since you don't get enough back after each match.
Royal Rumble is saved for the end of the video. -

If you grew up in this era you lived through the golden age of being a kid.
It was awesome
Man I remember this game was one of the two wwf games the wrestlers were diesel as fuxk, they was all boney and shit like wwf superstars. I remember a skating rink had this shit
Amen. It was an awesome time to be a kid then
Oh my god. Love this comment so much! I agree!!
So true! All the arcade fun, behind my house there was only fields, all around on the bike, a bit of tech, less political correctness...
38 years old in 2020 and outta no where this popped into my head. My mom would always have a little spare change on her for me as i absolutely loved this game and she never had much herself. Thanks mom RIP 😔
I'm sorry for your loss.
Sounds like an awesome Momma you had, like mine. May she RIP
Awesome Mom. ❤️❤️
Sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry Martin :(. RIP
This was one of the best arcade games back in the day, loved it.
Still stands up today
One of the best wrestling games ever.
Man, even in arcade games Curt Hennig throws a beautiful drop kick... He truly was Mr. Perfect!!!
I remember the summer of 1993 when I would play this game while waiting for my dad's radiation treatments to get done at the hospital. It was a welcome distraction from the reality of life. It brings back all sorts of memories to hear that opening title theme again. Thank you for posting it.
May I ask if he made it through ok?
Was your dad ok?
hehe this game reminds of potato fritters and cans fizzy drink , it was in a small chinese takeaway a long with art of fighting, i had a cleaning job that was a few hours a week and would get around $35-$50 the game got borring after a awhile sometimes id just walk away and leave it playing lol
I took care of my Mother and Father for 13+ years. I promised never to place them in a home and I didn't, BUT it was so hard to see them deteriorate, get worse, reapirators, intense weight loss. It WAS hard to deal with. They both died in my arms. My Mom first, in 94 then my Dad in 96, on the 4th of July no less. After he died I walked outside to fireworks. It took me 15 years to go to another 4th of July celebration. As you said LIFE CAN SUCK AND IT DOES AT TIMES. I am sorry that you had to experience that. It's so hard and lonely.
@@Akihito007 No, unfortunately he lived only 6 months from his diagnosis and died in August 1993. I was just barely 17 years old.
Best era of wrestling right here.
thewillingwell yes sir. WWF
thewillingwell yes it is of all times.
It's called the GOLDEN ERA.....
Absolutely!
So glad I grew up with this...
Best wrestling game of all time! I remember playing this in the arcades.
I remember this arcade back in '92 in a Pizza Hut,and a line of us kids lost there mind if they lost their spot to play it
i used to have this game on my ship when I was in the Navy. I was in charge of all the video games and vending machines. I used to have to collect the coins every morning and there was always someone playing. I would give them 5 minutes and than I would unplug the game. There was a level button on the inside of the game and I would put it to the hardest level, so they wouldn't stay on long. At night when it was quiet, the demo screen would reverberate throughout that ship. "Body Slam...Atomic Drop"......The Russians probably listening in, in a Submarine somewhere, "The Amerikan's are killing each other!"
Imagine if u pop a quarter and choose warrior and right before the match he refuses to go out unless u put in 4 more quarters. Lol wrestling fans will get that
akuma4u lol
Lol..
Hogan also. lol
The game sprite warrior had more moves than the real warrior!!
G Waters So did Hogan's lol.
I still can't bring myself to call it "WWE". Its always gonna be WWF to me.
Same!
F the world wildlife fund....not the animals, but the company for making a big deal of 3 stupid letters w w f. So childish. World wildlife fund: wahhhh some fake wrestling company is more popular than we are...let's sue them for the rights to the wwf name.
Absolutely agree with you.
WWE. More like WW-Yeeesh
"WWF" just had *so much* more edge about it!
I remember playing this at the arcade as a kid. Definitely was one of my top 3 favorite arcade games
One of the best the Arcade had to offer in the early 90's. Great memories.
One of the best wrestling games ever made. Sad, though - half the roster no longer exists in real life :(
@George Vida glad you cleared that up for us
So true
RIP Mr. Perfect, Earthquake, Big Boss Man, Crush, Hawk, & The Ultimate Warrior
Yes it's sad that more than half of the wrestlers featured in this game are no longer with us.
They're all losers.
L L lol ur butthurt that ur macho not in game!
Fuck that piece of shit Warrior. He had the audacity to say that Bobby Heenan DESERVED cancer. Fuck that 3 move piece of crap
Now Mean Gene Okerlund the greatest announcer ever r i p
only child of 90s can truly feel and explain that nostalgia...
Dang almost all these guys gone but not forgotten. RIP thanks for making my childhood awesome
I actually own this arcade game, bought it out of nostalgia.
How much u pay for it
@@mary-lynetteallen2950
Bought the pcb broke for $20 and repaired it. Play it in my astro city
niceguy60 TELL ME U DIDNT JUST SAY that !!!!!????
niceguy60 i think today this arcade is worth only 19.99
@@OikPoinFive 19.99 for a acrade machine? Joke? If so I don't get it.
I can arguably say this is still one of the WWF games of all time! Especially because it has the road warriors in it.🙌🏻
This game came out during the peak era of the WWF
This game was so awesome and way ahead of its time
I was obsessed with this game when I was a kid... ahhhhh memories.
The game was so dynamic. Fatigue was accounted for. Submissions. You could throw your opponent to the ropes and they'd grab the ropes. Holding an opponent while your teammate double teams. Fighting out of the ring. Going to the top rope. The opponent lifting their knees to hit you if you jumped on them. Wow. Half that stuff I never noticed until I started playing recently. Amazing.
Ahead of it's time for sure
@A Neil Only thing I could think would be they're "boss" characters. They have twice the health then the others if I remember right. Might not be able to program them to be fair in that case.
and more fun than recent wrestling games on those advance consoles.
You're not kidding. One time I had hulk Hogan do a splash from the top rope and actually nailed it for the W
This game and SF2CE blew me away when I was a kid. Great time to be alive.
Same here, but then I got hooked on Mortal Combat.
Amazing graphics, it just still looks beautiful at this day.
As a child/teenager this game was amazing to me
The best wrestling arcade/video game ever
Man this brings back so many memories. With my brother at the arcade stack of quarters. Kids today have no clue
The best finisher when someone was tired in this game was the Million Dollar Dream by Dibiase. So fun on Royal Rumble mode.
back in the day i remember when my folks used to take me to this pizza place and instead of eating i would run straight to this arcade, when nobody was playing it that is,
LOL! Same here. They had Ninja Turtles too.
I used to go to Randy's Pizza in Brillion WI and play this game back in like 1999, 2000. Was a lot of fun.
RIP Ultimate Warrior! I always picked him when playing this game!!
me2
Fuck that piece of shit. He had the audacity to say that Bobby Heenan DESERVED cancer. Fuck that 3 move piece of crap
Same
Me too Warrior is a legend
Pete Watson
In his defense though, the vast majority of his fanbase were kids. Kids aren't that bright for the most part.
Actual voices announcing the wrestlers + calling the action as it happens, the way the camera follows the action + the way the ring moves as wrestlers pummel each other, the roar of the crowd behind you all the way, + the incredibly detailed presentation of the wrestlers & their reactions to what's happening all make this an exciting, visually dynamic, endlessly fun game & it ROCKS!
This was probably the greatest wrestling arcade game ever. Loved it when I'd go to a food and fuel and there'd be one of these machines there. I'd get so pissed if I made it kinda far and my dad would say "okay let's go" though. Memories...
25 years later and never tire of this game.
More like 35 years. 🧐
This is way way way way better than the 2K games...
DJgaZman A fucking Turd is better then that 2k shit 2k substituting quality gaming and story for fancy graphics from the start.... Amazing though how the newb WWE fans love 2k wouldn't know quality if it smacked them in the face
You must be drunk
This was the shit
2k19 is not bad
Oh cut it out.
WWF wrestle Fest was MY favorite game BACK IN the day I wish they Remake this game
Whenever I ran into this game in an arcade, my quarters went no where else.
Between this, the simpsons, double dragon and ninja turtles! Lol
@@donmeyers2631 I'll add Pigskin 621 A.D. to that list as well! For some reason the arcade games were broke and you could play for hours on only one quarter. Had a lot of laughs on that one.
japan made the best games in the whole world love this game
Still do too
The tragic part is that half of the wrestling roster in this game sadly died!
Mr. Perfect
Hawk
Crush
Earthquake
Ultimate Warrior
Big Boss Man
All died too young!
Winners don't do drugs but the whole roaster does lol
Troof
I mean, when i was playing this games back then, i never ever tought i would be watching a video of this games in my phone. I tought about flying cars, but not videos on the phone.
This was like an event going to arcade playing this.
Used to absolutely luv this game, wat a great era to have lived in
You damn right
Jakes DDT was sick in this game
T-417 yeahhhh
Jo Li ill?
Hell yeah
Fuck that! DOOMSDAY DEVICE!!!
Almost looked like a Freebird DDT with the extra bounce
This game looked so amazing at the time. I was in awe each time I played it
Wrestlefest was the shit back then surprise this game never made it to home consoles
I would've loved this ported to the SNES.
Download it on mame u can play it on the conputer
How come it never went on any console?
That was very discouraging
@@KennethRobinson-hl7sg I know I loved that game !! They should have put on genesis or SNES
Top 3 wrestling game for me. Any else notices that Hogan & The Warrior are the only 2 characters that DON'T take damage from the 1st attack?
No one
Remember playing this at the arcade in Surfside Beach, SC in the mid/early 90s.. the graphics were so sick.
Arlo Bennett right under the pier? I did too
Since I was born a bit after this game came out I never knew about it / played it. This clip is the first viewing of the game for me. WOW! Very well done game! Good mechanics/moves, and a lot going on for a early 90s game. WAY ahead of its time it seems. Damn near had me rooting out loud for you to win hahah very entertaining.
man I remember they had this game back in the day at the coney island arcade! the graphics were amazing then, and they still are to this day!!!😆😆😆😆😆
"Jake, body slam!"
God I used to go to the arcades every morning with a few ££ and play this religiously for hours when on holiday in Blackpool every morning when I was about 9/10 back when kids could venture about themselves
Ya no shit
Loved this game. Many a happy hour spent in the arcade playing this! Must have spent a small fortune on it!
...THIS GAME WAS DEFINITELY THAT 🔥🔥🔥FIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥 BACK IN THE DAY!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I remember playing this game non stop in the Arcade man great memories
One of the best wrestling games ever made, I wish this would come to either PSN, or the WiiU Eshop
you can play it on your laptop or PC
yes and xbox live arcade
I own the arcade game.
Would you consider selling the wwf arcade game?
I would not say I would never sale it but at the moment I not looking to sale.
Having a shitty day on lockdown. Watching this has brought me a ray of sunshine.
The powerslam, Crush’s spinning back breaker. The DDT. So many memories.
I went to school in Hornsea, I used to go down to the amusement arcades and play this on my dinner.
Such an awesome gameZ
This is so great. We love playing this game and having fun with it. Great roster, great game, just so much fun. For all the poor WWF games that were out there, at least we know we will always have this one to look back on with fond memories.
I’m watching this with my son, telling him, at the time I was playing this game in 1990, I didn’t think graphics would be any better then this in the future.....he’s still laughing
Haha yes! I remember the morning the Legion of Doom issue of Mean Machines landed on the doormat with screenshots of Super Wrestlemania, ran to school to show everyone and we were all gobsmacked how they looked 'exactly like on the TV!'
Holy shit, I LOVED this game back in my childhood. Thank you for posting this!
World-of-long plays 'The drag the enemies to the other side of the ring for some Tag team revenge was highly entertaining!' Love the 'Boston Crab' submissions, Oh yes! I am on Coronavirus Lockdown April 6th 2020 in the UK and your fun game play is enthralling me!
The graphics in these games were miles better than any console at the time. It's a shame we will never get those old wwf games back. Miss those days.
The hand clap after the win is killing me over here😂😂😂😂
It makes me sad to see this let's play knowing that most of these legends are no longer with us :( When Animal passed away, that really hit me knowing that one of the best tag teams is now deceased.
I remember playing this one all the time, my favorite tandem being Sgt Slaughter & The Big Bossman, I called them Law & Order
Genius
I like Mr. Perfect and Earthquake. The Perfect Disasters.
I use Jake the snake and warrior all the time. Even had a finisher set up for them . Have Jake hit the ddt and tag in warrior to hit the warrior splash. Work Everytime
**DUN DUN**
Jay Leach is right: Genius!!
My childhood days of going to the mall with my parents and begging them to give me quarters to play games. This arcade wrestling game was there and I would put quarters to enjoy playing this outstanding game.
I could play this game all night on 25 cents I was so good at it. I would love to find this again
Everything in a blue steel cage is still pretty awesome!
Brings back memories of impossibly difficult arcade games for that would eat your quarters.
I spent so much money on this game when I found it in the arcade. A great game for it's time.
What was disappointing about this game was that there was no Macho Man
Someone said this exact same thing years ago, then someone came in with the answer. Apparently Macho Man was having contract issues at the time of the game coming out, that's why you don't see him in it.
33christskull and no Bret Hart o.0 !!!!
33christskull what i would’ve like to see was the actual commentators here.
Or british bulldog or brett heart
T1M H8LL
HART, not HEART, moron.
And it's BRET, not BRETT
This game use to be in all the pizza huts back in the day.
1 of the best game... good times 🥺wish i can go back
Wow, this looks amazing! The colors, music, sound and gameplay!
Perfect! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ahh the memories of standing in the arcade everyone watching you kick ass like a boss glad I grew up in the arcade era got this game on mame with xbox 360 controller
I used to master this on the arcades, i remember once i went in and after 10min there was a crowd watching me play this game, i won vs lod many times and when i was bored i asked around if any of the people watching wanted to take my place,, i went out with every kid looking at me, lol i was a master at this game.. ultimate warrior and million dollar man, with those 2 i could win against anyone anyday
This will always be my favorite wrestling game I wish would come out for home consoles.
well, you can play it on mame easily.
God I miss this game. I miss being a kid. I used to play this game at the rollerskating rink that we had in town but the rollerskating rink is there no more and neither is the game.😞
Best wrestling game ever! My local Fish and chips shop had this arcade game. Used to play it every friday night. I always played as Hulk Hogan and The Big Bossman. I was kinda obsessed with the game for much of the early 90's. And it still looks great today.
I am surprised this never came on console. It wouldve made millions.
Acclaim/LJN/Flying Edge had the WWF console license for almost the entire 1990s
If It Came Out On Consoles Undertaker Would've Been On The Console Version For Sure
@@futuregohan4837 I had this game on the first Nintendo system back in the day...
@@D.B.Cooper-1971 No you didn't, idiot. No console at the time was going to have this on it. The NES did have a few WWF games, but nothing close to this.
@@suchiuomizu my bad I was really young then, take it easy. Thanks for the correction tho dickhead!
This was one of my favourite wresting games in the arcade,I played a ton of qaurters onto this one👍🏻
38 and this brings back memories. Had to search it up as it randomly came back to memory.
I love that you can play this on your computer and love the fun. I always try to make through the whole game 2x on 1 credit.
Its honestly surprising how many movies you had for each guy, finishers, submissions, plus tag moves and top rope dives.
I remember going to the mall as a kid just to play this game like great memories
I used to watch the older kids play this to perfection...best wrestling game ever back then
Last match was great...very well timing on these drama kick outs and the stomp missed by a hair on the 3rd count.....great stuff and miss this game so much!
This is still one of the best wrestling game of all time I used to get mr perfect n earthquake once he did that splash it was over 😝😝😝😝
After school it was off to 7-11 for a slurpee, nachos and this game. I could have a lot of fun for $5 back then.
Sad but true.
It was a sad day for me when I realized none of the 7-¹¹ s had pinball machines anymore.
In my teenage years, still remember playing this game for hours at a donut shop with friends so much fun.
Man I totally forgot about this game man thanks for posting this...
this and superstars where the best made arcade wrestling games
Agreed. Great job by Technos Japan. And they made the gameplay even better on this one than Superstars, making it easier to do your finisher and doing it when the opponent was weakened enough.
I'd play this over WWE 2k anyday.
I used to love this game , brought back alot of memories thanks for sharing 👍
Million Dollar Man and Earthquake were my go-to team when I went to the arcade and played this, we'll never have another good arcade wrestler like this.
were all fucking geezers for lovin this game
+douche bigelow That's because we snack on danger, dine on death.
+suchfunstuff lmaooo
The music in this game reminds me of the music from the X-Men Sega Genesis game
"Smash, with an AXehandle from the top rope!" Royal Rumble mode was so cool, even though pinfalls are allowed...... LOL Bossman looks like he's flipping someone off in the last picture.
Idk about anyone else, but this just took me back to the 80s and early 90s.. My God how I wish I could go back in time!!!
I musta spent enough coins at the arcade as a kid to buy this game.
the game is so damn old and it is better than the 2k games... I used to play this game all of the time back in the olden days....I recently picked up WWE All-stars cause it sort of reminds me of this game
This was my 2 hour occupation at the laundry mat as a kid 😄😂😄😂
Fantastic game. I remember playing it for hours back in the day.
