  • Hey guys! Here's a brief on Turkish citizenship by investment program, by route of real estate investment, and a comparison with similar CIB programs across the globe. Why are we discussing Turkey?! Well, firstly because it's my area of specialty. Secondly, almost all citizenship by investment programs require you to buy real estate that has been pre-approved by the government, except for Turkey. Here is where the questions arise, don't they? Take a look for more detail.
    0:00 Introduction
    00:50 Visa-free Travel
    01:30 Ordinary vs. Civilian Turkish Passport

    Great video but one thing I would expect you to highlight is the cons of the Turkish citizenship which I believe is important to know e.g. the taxes expected because some say it's as high as the US if you live in turkey with around 40% on the GLOBAL income! I'm yet to see you highlighting this info, thanks again!

I was informed that those who become Turkish citizens by investment would not get the same health benefits as they haven’t contributed during the earlier years towards health care. This is obvious as they were living & working outside Turkey until obtaining the citizenship by investing. Please clarify.

    Hello Aladdin, thanks for your videos. As usual they are very informative and I enjoy very much watching them! Have you considered Bulgaria as an option for acquiring citizenship by investment? It not only gives you an excellent entry point for the whole EU and Schengen zone, it’s the hidden tax haven for Europe with the lowest tax rates across Europe, but it also provides an updated fast-track option for citizenship which is one of the best in Europe, after Turkey of course. I think that it’s definitely worth considering it!

    However, on the negative side 5 years ago $1 was equal to 2.93 Turkish Lira and today $1 equals 8.29 Turkish Lira. That is a devaluation of Turkish Lira by nearly 3 times or 300%. So unless if someone bought Turkish Real Estate 5 years ago and the property appreciated 3 times the purchasing price, they would end up with a loss.

    Numbers prove this is an amazing citizenship by investment deal, perhaps the best in the world today. It’s not only the Passport. Turkish real estate by itself is amazing and offers real VALUE FOR MONEY because of the exchange rate, unlike EU countries. Türkiye is a big country with a large, diversified, growing GDP with great export potential, unlike other buy-passport options such as Bulgaria, Greece that are small, stagnant economies with limited potential. All in all it’s probably the best such deal in the world now. Hope the threshold amount doesn’t go up too much.

    Why do you people use .(dot) where it should be , (comma). I lived in Turkey for 4 months this is what I noticed. It is very confusing. Like 250.000 and u meant is 250,000. In reailty we ignore the values after . (dot ) as it means full stop. Nothing more...

    Aladdin; my dad, mom, and I are wanting to move from America to Istanbul within the next year. My dad and I want to start a company out there, so I was wondering since you are involved with real estate that you could possibly find us a house/villa to where we can receive citizenship. Maybe even some office space as well. I would really appreciate the help.

    Please answer with 250,000. Should I buy one house? Or can I buy two houses, for example? Or a house and a small shop?? Or only one house is required to get a golden visa

    • @AladdinsTurkey
      @AladdinsTurkey  Год назад

      The golden visa means real estate residence. You can buy a property at a price between 50,000 USD to 75,000 USD to obtain it according to the conditions announced by the Turkish government. You can read more via one of the links

    I hv some questions about Turkish P.R.P
    Q1 Can a married sister live in brother's house and apply for TRP ? Rather than taking seprate place and apply?
    Q 2. If one spouse has taken PRC (Permanent Residency) through property purchase (less than USD 250K) and other spouse is living in Pakistan, whether both will be granted PRC? Since one spouse will be visiting occasionally.
    Q3. PRC scheme validity to be expired by year 2021 ?
    Q4 If couple has purchased a property, rented out and came back to Pakistan, whether they will be eligible after five years as citizen?
    Q5 What is minimum eligibility to stay in Turkey for citizenship during Permanent residency.
    Q6 Can a married sister live in brother's house and apply for TRP ? Rather than taking seprate place and apply?
    Q7. What are PRC documents requirements? Is PRC holder is eligible for doing job in Turkey?

    • @AladdinsTurkey
      @AladdinsTurkey  3 года назад +1

      Hi Ume!
      Q1. Yes, she will need to provide proof of address (register under the same address at your local Nüfüs ve Vatandaşlık İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü).
      Q2. Yes, the other spouse is eligible too. However, if the spouse spends 6 or more months out of the year abroad the residency permit automatically becomes invalid.
      Q3. Residency Permit Program is not going to discontinue as far as we know.
      Q4. In order to be eligible for a Turkish Citizenship the couple needs to reside in Turkey uninterruptedly for 5 years, during that time they can spend maximum 6 months (in total) outside Turkey.
      Q5. Please see the answer above.
      Please visit this government website for further information en.goc.gov.tr Also note that the conditions change frequently, so I would advise you to check the website on a regular basis. Best of luck!
