Wow factor,Nice to see and hear this retro music given a new lease of life.Grovey,,,,Great band, Can see you have put lots of work into this,I feel like the sun is shining when i hear this,So thank you,From Cold and wet Essex England X.
Great sound! If they have written original songs, or have a friend who'd write original songs for them, they could be major stars. They certainly have the talent to be superstars.
Would be fun if they did a cover of "Scotch on the Socks" by the Shadows, a truly mind blowing instrumental that would give the likes of jimmy Page or Eric Clapton a run for the money.
The Trashmen of "Surfing Bird" fame played this rock version of Malaguena on the LP with their big hit in 1964. Kind of the same treatment Dick Dale gave "Misirlou"!
@@LaurenceGray-et7sb Nice! That would definitely sound awesome arranged on piano. I can play the basics on guitar. It's one of the most covered instrumentals, and one of my alltime favorites.
@@leeclay4338 somewhere on RUclips, there is a video of Ernesto Lecuona playing his version of "Malaguena" on piano. Lecuona was a superb pianist who was born and raised in Cuba.
Couldn't agree less. They sound great but apart from the drummer they have very little energy or stage presence. If they ramp up their enthusiasm on stage they might go far. I think they sound fantastic though.
These ladies are serving a niche though, fans of surf guitar. To compare a niche cover band to Led Zeppelin is unfair. They do what they do with excellence, have a great look, great sound and are having fun. The people at their shows have a blast and can forget about the problems of the world for a few minutes.
@@mikeemmons4062 great response. Yes, I'll admit that, sometimes I'm a little too critical of music and musicians. Thank you for reminding me of what music is really all about. And I'm not being facetious, I'm being honest.
Oh my gosh! That sound, smooth, flowing, they’re weaving back and forth with that duo ….And they personify the spirit of the age, back in the days of Ricky Nelson- Sandra Dee ……. Never get tired of that sound! Been rc drifting to these tunes for 1 1/2 years….
Yeah but props to the girls for keeping this music alive. Surf music had a great impact on music. For a lot of us still around that were there it brings back fond memories. By the way a lot of music has been done before it's not new.
It's nostalgically entertaining and not the typical crap on pop radio today. Plus, so much now is remakes, and a lot of the rap is old music with shitty new lyrics added.
This new drummer is killing it! She takes them to a new level.
thanks Dad
They sound great live!
I just ran across this video randomly and loved it. Great band sound and look!
I love the one dressed in green.
Sometimes these girls just have things handled
I love the Surfrajetes!❤️ Surf music and Pretty Girls.
God bless the Surfrajettes. Dedicated and great and getting greater.
Gosh, I love surf music. Gosh, I love beautiful women. Gosh, I love beautiful women playing surf music. Awesome job, ladies.
Gosh I think you know them or related LOL.

So much better with their new drummer! Sarah is a Goddess.
Anna Liebel will never be forgotten though ❤
@@johnlazzaro2534 I certainly agree. Wish her well.

Good stuff. It's put me in the mood to play Surfing Home On A Dead Girl by the Meteors.👍🎸

Dick Dale would be pleased. Nice job!
Stunning - thanks RUclips for letting me discover this and so much more great music. Drummer is awesome!
I used to play that song in our bans back in 1967 . Its the first time I have heard it since.
Nice. I still like the 5,6,7,8s though
this is how it's supposed to be - "it" being guitar instrumental it needs no light show just watch the musicians play
Yea then they turned the lights down, which was pitiful…..But hay I got to see them…
Never get tired of there sound…
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz
im into this. I want them for Christmas. Is that wrong?
The drummer totally caught my attention, so much energy!
I couldn't see her past all those legs. lol.
This is my new favorite band
Thanks Grandpa
sooo awesome

Put down the Falstaff. Talent, yes. Superstars I highly doubt it.

Nothing better than a healthy ground buzz to ensure authenticity!
Nice
Nice! These girls ROCK. Is that a "surf variation " of Malaguenas they're playing? Love love love it.
Yes that is "Malaguena" by Ernesto Lecuona.
The Trashmen of "Surfing Bird" fame played this rock version of Malaguena on the LP with their big hit in 1964. Kind of the same treatment Dick Dale gave "Misirlou"!
When I was younger--much younger--one of my piano teachers helped me learn how to play the original version of "Malaguena" by Lecuona.

Really great. Seems they're inspired by The Shadows. Best sound for drunken summer nights. Are they still active?
For sure, you would need to be drunk to think this is good

These girls are really good 👍
AMAZING !!!!
What's the name of this tune?
Malaguena
It's called people getting together for the first time. they are all beginners
Why is the drummer always hidden their videos?
NOT impressed.
Awesome, Ladies... as Always
This piece was recognizable but they could have cleaned up the audio.
A "taped" recording of a live act, and not a big money production... who's the they that should have "cleaned it up"?
Impressive
I can't believe I missed you guys in my neck of the woods. Where did you play???
Me too I wonder where

All the songs sound the same. What made led Zeppelin so great. Was the fact that they were very good. And they were very versatile.
