This was a really nice video!! ❤️❤️ Hearing you excited about how much you love most things in your closet is inspiring me to go through my closet and revamp again lol!!
you should really try the everlane wide leg pants! or the straight leg version. they are sooooo flattering and a nice stiff structured material. i am pear shaped and a size 8 and they look so good. you can find a lot of them on poshmark and depop and even ebay too (maybe after you try your first pair, if you end up liking them). i have 4 pairs bc they are my work essential (that i love wearing)
Very nice wardrobe tour Katie, its so nice to see a minimal wardrobe thats more realistic and useable to, as I see some wardrobes that don't really relate to me as they are tiny or very season based, so its nice that you have a 4 season wardrobe :) :) Also in terms of workwear, look at Thought Clothing they are an ethical company that is rather affordable and they do nice tops and dresses, I haven't bought there pants before though. Also People Tree another ethical brands is really good, I love there dresses, I have 3 :) :) but they are a tad more expensive and also Komodo Fashion another ethical brand that is really good, I get a lot of my sweaters from there as they use a lot of organic cotton and are middle range in terms of affordableness :) :)
Hi Katie! The best tops I’ve seen are from Sezane 😍. I also own t-shirts from Holland Cooper. Look for a recommend tailor woman instead of a shipper one. You’ll feel like the piece was made for you. It’s the best experience.
Im a shopaholic. I have hundreds of clothes. I will never be a minimalist, but you inspire me to stop shopping cold turkey. Im curious about whether your wardrobe always looked like this. Kisses
Wow, thanks so much! So happy to have helped you in a small way. Definitely not always been like this but I would say over the past 5 years I have been working towards finding a balance between my love of clothes and keeping a small wardrobe. Definitely don’t always get it right and buy items I regret but it’s about progress not perfection I think 😊
@@katie_louise I'm your new follower now and I'm looking forward to your new videos. Maybe some other people would also like to hear about your minimalist journey. I think around 30-40 pieces of clothing+accessories is impossible for me even when Im travelling :D so I'd be curious to hear more about it. Xx
Hi Natalia! I used to be a shopaholic as well. I felt so overwhelmed at that time and I decided to try minimalism. It’s been 3 years already and I don’t regret at all. I have around 60 pieces of clothing + accessories + shoes. I work in a bank so I’ve been enjoying look always classic in weekdays. That’s bc it doesn’t bother me that my wardrobe looks always the same. When it comes to weekend clothes, when I get tired of wearing a piece, I sell it in a second hand shop and look for another one. This way it’s not bad for the environment. I hope you can find your own way to feel better and don’t pressure yourself with labels or amount of clothing but be happy.
@@Karenvieira84 thank you for your post! I enjoy having clothes, I work in different environments, love nature, perform on stage, so I need a variaty of clothes. Im just trying to limit my shopping... each time I watch a minimalism video it makes me wanna do wardrobe curating more than shopping. ;)
I bet it make laundry a lot easier. Very pretty items you have in your closet.
