Not bad at all. Way more torque than a 250f. Only 3lbs shy of the 19 YZ450F you tested. Trying to convince myself I’d be fine to desert race on this bike vs my 450.
enduro is more than an history of torque and power.. ability is way far important. give a 100 cc to jarvis or walker and he probably continue to kick some ass :)
I had a go on a mates new 300 tpi, no where near as crisp and powerful as my 17 300 with keihin carb and tsp head, so much so I've gone to a 450 4 stroke now
Is this dyno run done with a road rear tyre or enduro tyre? I can’t see clearly enough this from the video. If it’s not road tyre dyno rwhp numbers will be lower because of this...
Barely a single horsepower more than the latest 250 4 strokes from Husqvarna and KTM. Shows how far 4 strokes have come. I'm glad more and more videos like these are releasing because allot of people are really confused about the outputs of these things, people out there are claiming 250 2 strokes have like 60 horsepower. It's absolutely incredible how many people have this giant misconception about 2 stroke horsepower.. I literally just came from an article a few minutes ago claiming that the latest 250 2 stroke apparently have 50+ horsepower at the wheel, yet here we have perfect proof, amongst others showing its definitely not the case, yet they never seem to properly inform themselves either out of ignorance or just the lack of proper information there is in this since manufacturers don't release specs with bikes, and pretty much leave it to to the buyers to figure out.
you cant go by just one dyno run... dirt rider's runs are notoriously low. secondly this isn't a mx bike. those USUALLY produces mid to high 40s stock. a 250 2 stroke can make 55+ hp
@@powersportsenthusiast1986 The 4 stroke outputs are from this same channel and there's multiple models of different manufacturers running consistent results. ruclips.net/video/y0sidAeY208/видео.html
Im from Spain and here all the enduro and motocross magazines when they check the bikes power, the 250s and the 300 2 stroke tpi bikes have around 48-54 hp ,and the 450s around 50-55 hp. So i think there are two posibilities. your dyno doesn t work good or the enduro bikes in USA have less hp than europe enduro bikes.
Mustang Dyno and there are too many variables from dyno to dyno. Without knowing all the variables, dyno numbers mean nothing !! It's a tuning tool, no more no less. Take it like a grain of salt.
Not a chance. The latest 2019 model Husqvarna TC125 is praised for being the most powerful 125 2 stroke ever, and it has 37 CRANK horsepower. Meaning it'll read about 32 or so horsepower on a dyno like this.
@@dean8067you assume a lot... who's to say his bike wasnt modded? I don't know where you read "most powerful ever" either.. usually the ktm versions always make a hair more. ever read mx action? there runs are always closer to what the actual hp is. these runs dirt rider does are low

Hi Janne, we conduct our dyno runs with a Dunlop D404 street tire on the rear wheel to ensure consistency from bike to bike.
Is a standard carbed more powefull? Is the mx version more powefull?
MX bikes are probably more powerful as this bike is specifically made for hard enduro and technical single track type riding.

This is to the tire, put a 250f on it and it will have significantly less torque and less horsepower.
