Hi, looks like a rebranded megarevo 8k. Not knocking EG4. I have bought some stuff from Signature Solar. Someone in Western Canada appears to have done the same thing and called is BlueSun 8k.
    Love your Hydro projects!!

You might want to just try space heaters for your base load at approximately 1600 watts each on high and 800 on low with variance between models. Cheap and effective.

Would love to see a limiting test for the new eg4. Limiting to not backfeed into the grid with the CTs.

I would like you to hook this up to the 240 Grid in the split phase as an input. I'm interested in this for an RV application with 50 amp 120V on L1 and L2. I'm most interested to see what it does when presented with power from an RV that has 120V / 25 Amp on L1 and L2 but on the same phase. This is what my Onan 5.5KW produces. Will it fault because they are not in split phase? Will it only allow L1 to pass through? While it provides assistance from the batteries or solar to bring the amps back up to 50 amps? I have asked the manufacturer several times, but they have not answered my questions. The Victron Mulitplus ii 120x2 provides power assistance and will pass power on L1 when the lines are in phase. What is the maximum power it will pass through on the grid? Please let me know what your thoughts are on these questions.
