23 years of trucking vans and refers I just bought my fist step deck trailer picking it up tomorrow been watching lot of this kinda videos to learn good ways to secure the load helps a lot thanks for showing us right way to secure the load this is the important part of the job keep Trucking be safe
Yes sir I am trying to learn how to properly secure and transport a forklift and materials on a heavy duty tow truck. Any videos are appreciated Thanks
Soon will need to transport a forklift and an 8 yard dumpster on occasion on basically a rolloff truck with a skid plate. So will have that FL and can on an incline angle the same as you would a rolloff dumpster. 😬
Mic may have been off by mistake....double check it before doing another video with it....giving a good education on how to make sure a load is proper for a good distribution of weight that doesn't put more unnecessary wear and tear on the truck.

Great video! I just purchased forklift trailer and been going to buy 4 3/8" chains, I just need 2 chains and 4 binders! Thanks!
@Eli Lance I watch pornhub
Do not chain bind onto the side shifter of the forklift . Always face tines to the rear . Your chains are rubbing , no need to cross the chains .
Thanks man..
Great video thank you

Earl Sullivan yea I know to double check next time haha
serious question here,... do you think those little chains are enough to hold that 10,000# FL in place in event of an emergency stop or worse ?
Each chain was rated for 4700 so 4700x4 is 18800 lbs worth of securement the forklift weighed 9800 lbs i just round up the wieght to 10k
@@stephengamble1445 thanks for the response, but what if you lost one chain ? I'd be afraid of that and now the other one is a mere string for 10K
@@tjm52071 your welcome and yes I put a additional chain pulling backwards as a cover my ass chain I just forgot to record it
@@tjm52071 How would you have secured it. For educational purposes please. Thanks.
@@bladestarlogisticsllc7495 when I tow our forklifts, I use 4 larger and separate chains.
Dude get a gopro
I plan on it
