If Beep Boop had the emotion to think of Wander as a friend, and to stop obeying Lord Dominator, that means Beep Boop had sentience. Lord Dominator built sentience into all her robots, meaning they can feel pain, fear, ect. Really puts things into perspective on how horrible Lord D really is.

Yeah, he would never outright murder them in such a painfull way, the closest things to harm he has done to them are electrocuting them (when he was angry due to how incompetent they were), mess with them (specially Greg) and overwork them to the point of exhaustation and while none of these things is okay compared to what Dominator put her minions through when she is disappointed by them what Hater does is mild plus it's probable that after the events of the Finale Hater does treat them a bit better

The thing that touches me most is that when dominator says “I can Unbuild you, you bucket of bolts” does beep hoop recall what wander says. Beep hoop isn’t just a bucket of bolts. They’re more than just the list of their parts. And they can do the right thing.

the show really did a great job at making Dominator look and feel like an unstoppable force of evil. both times Hater could've whooped her but he failed (first by being overpowered, second by his simping), then this, then the Frostonium seeming to work only for the ship to absorb the Frostonium and give her ice powers. even in the flower episode-the only episode sans the series finale where she technically failed-she still won.
