I actually think the series is about him getting over his massive crush on his boss. Over the series he becomes more disillusioned with Hater and more interested in his own plans. Not to say he'd leave hater but its clear he feels more like a friend/caretaker like Sylvia is to Wander. And I feel over the series him and Sylvia get closer than he and hater were as their relationship is built over mutual bonding and respect

What was Peepers thinking at this moment??? Like his whole species were just called robots and I would be hurt if my buddy/boss/guy that zaps me a lot just said lol look at all those -chickens- robots I would be hurt like??? Bro??? You should know this???? I thought you cared enough to know that my species are sentient and feel stuff???? Like wtf????? Also it's no secret that Peepers probably works way too much because he's the only one who actually makes sure the watchdogs are doing their jobs and hes always got some plan too. Oh and there was the headphones which were just a tape that was like 'ur good bro' over and over even tho he really wasn't, those were kinda depressing. Like Peepers, at least to me, has always been stressed about something, does all the work (and takes the most hits everytime), and somehow he manages to get up every morning and do the work that probably doesn't give him that much benefits (constantly hurt, always stressed, must have a bad sleep schedule, constantly juggles duties he shouldn't have to, and in the end desperately tries to help hater win which is sad sometimes because sometimes hater acts like he doesn't even want to succeed.) Anyway the only real benefits he gets is the power over a replaceable army or the friendship with Hater he gets in season 2. Season 2 is nice because hes hurt less but yknow still probably gets the most hurt out of all the recurring characters but whatever. Oh frick what if he only does the job because its a distraction from the everyday pain he gets and it gives him a sense of power even though hes crumbling on the inside.
