Great comparison video. I have the heart shaped engagement ring. Personally, I still prefer natural as it holds value in the long run. 😊

I recently sold my diamond heart E-ring. It’s value now was less than half of what we paid for it.

Love this setting and I love heart shape diamonds. So romantic and beautiful. They were once popular as engagement rings but like any other trend, it passed but some still buy them. I really like the brilliance of heart diamonds. But I had to laugh when the guy said "Some" people will prefer a natural diamond and that's ok. As if the people that buy natural diamonds were the minority lol. Although labs sales are booming, they are only less than 20% of the diamond market place with natural being a little over 80%. Just had to mention that. To me it's not about spending less money to get a bigger look, I don't care about big tacky rings. It's about not only beauty but how precious the stone is that I value and labs although also beautiful do not do it for me, so I prefer natural diamonds.

If it has flaws, then how can it be a lab diamond!

Not sure why you think labs are supposed to be perfect since they are man made but they are not. They are graded and have grades in clarity from Fl down to SI1's and lower just like a natural. Same with color they are not just D,E & F but go down the scale too. As a matter of fact besides using that machine jewelers have that tells them a natural from a lab diamond, you can also tell the difference by looking at the flaws under magnification. Labs flaws look completely different from a natural and look like dark short lines in the diamond which natural diamonds do not have. Basically even though a lab is a real diamond they are not exactly like a natural diamond. So if you buy a lab you still need to look at the 4C's and pick a good one.
