at the end of the day, red foo is the best judge. he may not be the best mentor but for me he is the best judge. he said to Dami in her first audition, "the XFACTOR lies in YOU"...also, when Dami froze in Jolene, he was the only Judge who stood up in appreciation after the song. beneath the quirkiness, being ridiculous and all that, i think he a great guy.....
most of d contestants actually are just the same, falling on the same routine w/c i find it boring & unappealing but when i saw one clip of dami on that hero song audition i got mesmerized by her voice & her innocent, meek presence...such an awesome woman , having such a hiroshima bomb voice....can't wait for ur album dami!!

Her husband was so supportive of her throughout the competition, but she did not mention him when she was asked about who she was thankful for in this experience. Of course, no one outside can know what their marriage has been like so far, but it has now changed dramatically. I hope that they can both adapt to the change together.

I've watched other videos of Dami that contained some interaction with her husband and family - and, while I know Koreans are quite circumspect and formal in their relationships, I never saw any real affection between the two. That might have been because of the circumspection and formality. As I said, I hope that her new life after winning X Factor does not cause a problem in their relationship. It is hard when things change so much, so fast.

I know even the judges didn't expect so much from her during her audition because she's Asian. Judge as much as you guys want but remember yall got some shitty singers too!
