About the biofuel, it just a GAS not shit-powered. Also, it's cheaper, less CO2. And as a Scandinavian i go by biofuel bus every day, I feel barley ANY different between it and diesel. No it does not smell anything.
Christchurch city in New Zealand, began recovering gas from sewage in 1974 when the treatment plant was run by Diesel generators running on compressed gas. A small fleet of buses and trucks too. CO2 is scrubbed for industry. 40 years on and doing well with no smell.
