Great footage, especially the downhill section starting at 3:33

Avalanche Pass is the most spectacular tour route in the Adirondacks outside of peak skiing in my opinion.

ben, i usually wear a light tele set-up when I ski Avy Pass. Garmont Excursion boots and Madshus Epochs. You can use lighter equipment, with NNN backcountry bindings, but I like my tele setup so I can enjoy the descent from the pass more.

Wow! I just got s bound fischer 98 skis. Would i get into trouble with nnn bc bindings and leather boots?

It depends on your skills. The pass can be skied with a NNN setup, but I prefer tele bindings.
