I watched this from the start thinking, ya right, there’s no way, it will never get finished. I was 1000% wrong. The finished product is absolutely incredible and I’m completely blown away! Congratulations Jimmy. Much respect. This thing will live on forever !
I gotta say... this came out WAAAAY better than I was envisioning when you announced you were going to do this. You and the team did an amazing job making this jet "fly" down the road again.
I have to say I agree with you. That was what I thought was gonna be one ugly looking motorhome airplane, but it turned out really really nice. Who knows
I was among those that thought you blew a quarter of a million dollars on a jet that had been sitting for 41 years and here you are at the conclusion of a dream project about to make it's debut at Oshkosh. Congratulations on proving me wrong and reaching success.
the mad man did it. i didnt see the vision when you bought this thing but since your wife was on board and hadnt placed you in a ditch somewhere, i kept the faith. AMAZING JOB MAN. YOU GUYS ALL CRUSHED IT. everyone who had apart, from the tow on, this was a wonderful group effort to restore some American history.
Jimmy and Grizzley, the Elvis Jet looks AMAZING!!! I'll admit that when you started this project I thought it was stupid and would never get done. It seemed so half assed and Jimmy I thought you were crazy. As it turns out, you were crazy like a fox!! All I can say is WOW! What a one-of-a-kind Item, so cool! Congratulations on a job well done!
I still think he's crazy lol he should have just chalked the jet up as a lose the amount of money he spent to make this not to mention buy it no, way he'll make his money back and there's not much of the Elvis Jet left. It wasn't one of Elvis's main Jet he maybe flew in it a couple times he had it I think for about a year, if it was a main Jet Evis loved the most and flew the most I could understand it . But just my opinion I could be wrong , I don't think so I guess we're see , I would have liked to seen it in it's real form before it was torn up just because it was Elvis's plane but not much left of it hopefully he kept the original interior you need something left The king has touched. It'll be another interesting to see what comes of it.
Don’t forget to thank Silas. He is great young man, doing an important job; and I’m sure many more that we know about. At the same time he is learning life and skills from his father, which cannot be measured in any other way than in units of love.
I've been following you since way before you bought the Jet, Never in a million years did I ever think you would accomplish what you did. The two of you need to be congradulated for your vision, hard work and th ability to stick with it, even when all seemed lost. Words cannot express my admiration for the two of you. HAVE FUN and ELVIS is getting ready to leave the building.
Jimmy, when you said you were going to make the Elvis Jet into a vehicle to tour the country, I thought "Jimmy has finally lost his mind". Well, your vision, and a lot of hard work from many people have made the dream a reality. It looks awesome. Congrats to all who made it happen!!!
Having followed Elvis Presley's career and life for over 50 years, I can tell you that I have NEVER SEEN A SINGLE PICTURE OF ELVIS IN OR NEXT TO THESE PLANES!! Since this plane was parked in a parking lot in a desert, it has been made A REAL HOAX.
Literally just passed by you north bound on 75 headed to Atlanta and came on RUclips to see if I could find some information on what I just saw. This is absolutely awesome and to see it on the highway blows my mind. You did an outstanding job on this and I feel lucky to have seen you!
Jimmy, perfection is putting it mildly. You guys have made this so cool. It looks so professional and with the elvisjet website url on the back. Personally I would make the screen a bit bigger so that you can look back clearly with the right feeling.
I just got to see this awesome piece of work today at Bass Pro in East Peoria IL, and all I can say is this thing is absolutely amazing. Love how you kept the interior original. Meeting Jimmy was awesome, him and his son are great people. I was pressed for time and so I bought a shirt and had it autographed and donated to his charity. He insisted I tour the inside and moved me to the front of the line, which was pretty awesome of him. I'm more of fan now then before. Please continue to make awesome videos Jimmy and can't wait to follow your next crazy/insane project.
If there was one project I didn't think you would finish, this was the one. Congratulations to the team. Very well done - looks amazing, especially with the polished stainless steel. Just need ac now and some working windscreen wipers! Greetings from the UK!
I have to admit, I was kind of skeptical about how this would look when you put the fuselage on the chassis, but you guys killed it. It looks AWESOME. Wish I was down there for my birthday to see it. Well done, Jimmy and Grizz.
Big Thanks for saving this memory for all to see. Elvis was an amazing singer who touched so many of us. So, sending you many blessings on your road trip.
Guys im so impressed. Jimmy your the man. You had a awesome team helping and i cant believe you got it street legal. Not saying its not safe. Great job guys.
When he first purchased that jet, I thought he was insane. Actually he still may be insane but I have to say that thing turned out beautiful. What a piece of work that jet is. It would be nice to see the interior restored and the cockpit restored to original. Nice work!!
Wow Jimmy this is beyond awesome. Congratulations to you and the countless number of folks that helped to get this project finished. I hope it's a big hit at Oshkosh and you're able to take it around the continental US and show off its glory.
I honestly thought you were out of your mind to buy this when I saw it in it's current state. To take on such a HUGE PROJECT and convert it was amazing to watch! I really didn't think it would work either, but certainly glad to see you pull it off! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Thank you, thank you very much" for sharing this with the world!
It looked like Grizzly was taxiing that thing to a runway. From the cockpit view you forget there's no wings or tail. Awesome stuff Jimmy and team! Love the vinyl and the stainless, looks so sharp and sleek!
The Elvis Jet looks phenomenal Jimmy! If you come through i55 going north from Graceland to St. Louis be sure to stop at Smokestack BBQ in Manila, Arkansas! We got you and the whole crew covered for a meal! We hope to see you soon!
This came out WAY better than I could have ever expected. I was pretty skeptical when this project started (no offense, you know how these nightmares work) and wow I am beyond impressed. Great work, guys.
Amazing build. It turned out better than I thought it would. The metalwork on the lower body is great and the stainless makes it look like it's flying.
I remember when i watched the episode where you bought the plane and to be honest I did not expect this. A smart guy doing smart things, gotta love it. A great honor to one of the greatest of all time!
GREAT Accomplishment and Job.. The Worst part to me is seeing out of that Windshield!!! Espec in the rain.. but how cool is that to drive Elvis' Jet down the road... Imagine all the Gigs that must have flown to and the stories that went on on that cabin~~~!!
Thank you so much for sharing your phenomenal Elvis Presley adventure. That’s awesome! Love Evis! Cannot wait to see you go to Tennessee, especially Graceland. Elvis is smiling from heaven!🙏❤️🎉

Ala a boat type of blower motor that we flip on for a minute or so before starting the motor for the 1st time of the day. Vented to the outside. If not this can literally explode! Inlet air while in transit to keep the electronics cool...and BY ALL MEANS an outlet louver for venting air to the outside of the enclosure! VERY very important!! Everything looks good though...

I never thought this would work. The question is did Jimmy get his money back with all the merch and videos.
No.... but worth it! on an unrelated topic, go to www.SaveThe310.com and buy a shirt... ahahahaha
@@therealjimmysworld can we get a cool elvis jet shirt?
I hope Grizzly was compensated well. I was kind of expecting a bonus check attached to the plaque.

Yes it did. I was expecting it to look like a turd on wheels. It does look extremely difficult to drive just as I expected.
It's a penis

Goes to show ,, a person with a vision and the love of making it happen CANNOT be stopped !!! Awesome 👍
I actually like that it has a wrap. It looks great, was cheaper, and the original paint is preserved underneath it - best of all worlds!

Jimmy the "Elvis Jet" is an outstanding, monumentally awesome, fine job!!! Way to go. JJ
Those quotation marks are doing some seriously heavy lifting here - this thing has as much to do with Elvis as a Daihatsu Charade.
That took some serious commitment, creative vision and resolute determination to get from junk to driving and licensed for the road. Way to go!!!!
