so.. i’ve replicated your set up, but instead, i have the YU4’s by Kanto for speakers, and i cant seem to get both speakers to play together. ive made sure that the cables are hooked into the right channels for the speakers, right to right left to left, and then i have the turntable hooked up to the RCA.. and switching between line and phono, on both the speakers and turntable, dosent seem to do anything. when i unplug the RCA from the Fosi Audio system and plug it into the RCA ports in the back of the speaker (while both speakers are wired into the fosi via stereo wire) it plays from the other speaker… gonna try to mess around with it more tomorrow, but idk what ive done wrong…
Try post a short video describing your problem? Connect your fosi audio amp to your phone or computer, see if it works. If it does, then your turntable is faulty.
@@ToolsElectroDIYyo i found out why. it’s because the yu4 has a built in preamp, i figured you would just be able to bypass that and use the speakers with the amplifier, but i dont think its that simple. hey, its about time i got some better speakers anyways, thank you for the response though :)

It's better to use line settings + active speakers? or phono settings + fosi amplifier + passive speakers?
Phono
I have an Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB turntable and Edifier R1280DBs speakers. What amplifier do you recommend?
Sony 2-channel receiver
