I really want ominous isle, but I want series 3 forestman set more, so if I don’t have the money it’s getting saved for series 3
I love how the Brick Cross station bus stop has 211b on it, which is the number on the tiny Lego London bus from couple years ago, and coincidently Sherlock Holmes' house address number

2X ominous isle, 1X mushroom house, and 1X brick cross station. Still thinking about either getting another mushroom house or logging train for college investment.
The flatcar on the logging train … what you referred to as an HVAC unit … that’s where you put the battery box if you want to add power to this train (which will run or sit on normal LEGO track)
June might be an expensive month with Bricklink series 2 and the Barad-Dur +GWP on June 1st. Choices, choices!
Series 2: 2x Train Station / 1x Ominous isle
Series 3: probably 2x of everything
Series 4: meh…I’ll wait to see if I get more excited in the future
Going to get the train, train station. I usually get two of the ones I like to flip the second one to help fund or partially fund the other.
For wave 2, I'm going to try to get the Isle... The other waves look have more stuff too. we'll see about those. I want more, but limited means, man. We'll see about those other waves when it is closer to ordering time for them. Thanks for the heads up!
Of this wave - I’m only really considering the Ocean House. Aside from being a dream for me to live in something similar, this set is also part of a story line with sets represented by the designer on each wave (except wave 1).
On the logging railway, the rail technique isn't illegal because it's a tile inside of the clip. If it was a plate, it would be illegal. Bricklink doesn't allow any illegal techniques for production models.

I love the mushroom house, but feel it is a bit expensive for what it is, so undecided at the moment
Bro this wave may be mid but the train station carries round 2 but I gotta say wave 3 and 4 are kinda disappointing

I’m a train fan, but going to pass on the Logging Railway. Great set, but it’s too display focused. I don’t see an easy way to fit that awesome trestle into anything in my system. Gotta get the Pirate set to stand against the new Eldorado Fortress!
Wave 2 i'm skipping on... unless i get tempted, last minute, by the train, but it's doubtful.
Wave 3, i'm sure getting the Lost City.
Wave 4, i'm getting the train for sure and maybe the Merchant Boat.
Bricklink sets look amazing just wish sets wasn’t limited time
Why? If you buy one to keep and one to sell, it pays for itself....
Maybe a little over priced but honestly so many other great sets just released or to be released that I’m likely passing on series 2.

The Logging Railway is pronounced "Log-ing" NOT "Lodge-ing" LOL. The train hauls logs, get it?
I'm disappointed with the wave exactly because there's 2 train related sets in it. I don't care about trains in the slightest.
The train station has potential to make for a great basis for a MOC, but... I'm not willing to pay 280 bucks just for that (because then you'd have to factor in how much more the build would cost me with all the changes I'd make to turn it into something else than a train station).
The Mushroom house is cute though, but I don't know what I would do with it so I don't know... At least it's affordable.
I like the ocean house, but yeah... It's missing something. I think that set is a prime candidate for Lego Ideas, so that Lego themselves could put some finishing touches on it. As it stands now, it's just not worth those 200 bucks to me.
Ominous Isle... I don't know. I love exotic sets and such, but I'm just not not into Lego pirate stuff.
I was going to get the Mushroom House, but $80 is too expensive. I would have paid $50 tops.
im also a huge train fan...but that has to be the worst train ever, that tiny little turd engine and its not even on real track? and where are the carriages? We could have had an Emerald Night with 5 Carriages for 2700 pieces? and we get this total garbage???????????
