Im very happy with the G5r projector after a year and a half of use in my 95 F350. I dont mind the bow as they really put a ton of light where it matters. Once i had the G5R with XB35 5k combo i had the "ahh this is what i was after" having originally installed Mini H1's and dealing with hot spot issues.
@@LightwerkzGlobal I don't have photos of it with the headlight disassembled. Just the full headlight assembly put together. I do know that it is a black series projector, though.
We do have "Black Series" brackets here - just not sure they are direct fit for your model. Please compare the bolt pattern before ordering. lightwerkz.net/collections/retrofit-brackets/products/black-series-to-g5-brackets-civic-altima-maxima@@SirBrass
I do own a 1999 Nissan Micra K11 and i installed clear lens headlight on it, but i still have the striped ones. Which headlight would you recommend to retrofit, and with what projector? Those headlight are kinda thin, about 18cm long between ends, so i can't really see what i should install.
Very similar. Morimoto has a AR Coated lens and a sloped shield. We find the version we are using is slightly brighter. Morimoto's may be slightly better optimized like you see in the D2S 5.0 vs G5R variants.

How would I mount this in my 2014 Mazda 5 (replacing my halogen low beam projector)? What bracket?
Not familiar with the internals on this one. If you have any photos of the original projector please email us so we can make a recommendation.

What about he ar coated vs the non ar coated lens kelvin rating
The AR coating makes the light output slightly warmer.
Thanks for the video. I was hoping you were gonna compare output to an H1.

Micro D2S is what I would use and you may need to recess it all the way into the reflector if you are tight on space.
What projector would you recommend for a 2003-2006 silverado? Would you run quads?
For the cat eye Silverados, this is the perfect compact projector.
I wonder if the micro d2s with a straight ballast adapter would fit a 97 yukon since a H1 fits
The Micro will fit anywhere the H1 fits in terms of mounting to the brackets or overall space/fitment. Good to go!
Hey quock question how is buld hold?
Or what holds the bulb morimoto holders or spring and ring?
You can use the motoholders but the unit comes with a bulb o-ring and a nut to tighten.
Recommended projector for 99' LS 400 headlight retrofit?
You can probably get away with a full size 3" but this 2.5" D2S Micro will work just fine. Great choice!
How does it compare with the TL-R being it both 2.5" projector?
MIcro is brighter and much straighter. Overall the micro is the best 2.5"
how does it compare to the regular morimoto d2s 5.0?
If you can fit full size, you should. Most of our full size conversions use G5-BRT which is a little stronger than D2S 5.0
Sure would have liked to see the high beam comparison
High beam performance will be stronger on G5-R/G5-BRT just like it is in low beam performance. Small compact projector can only do so much.
How are these compared to the micro Morimoto?

@@LightwerkzGlobal Appreciated the reply. Thank you
Is the d2s connector at the bulb waterproof? Do they sell a waterproof connector for it?
@@LightwerkzGlobalwhat about the kelvin rating with the ar coated lens vs no ar coated lens
Is there a RHD option?
Yes, did you click on the product link in the description? You can select RHD.
@@LightwerkzGlobal I swore I checked and it only had LHD 😦
This is excellent news
