Very good looking pack. I've been on the fence with the Tara because I'm usually carrying more than the Tara can handle due to little kids on an EDC basis. I'll definitely be checking this out soon!
Just received my Junction pack, overall it's great. I am a little disappointed that the sleeve pockets are smallish. With quart bottle and a grayl I loose some internal space. If I stuff the main compartment first it's not possible to load the bottles afterwards. Rewatchng the video I realized Evan refers to the pockets fitting canteens, not Nalgene size bottles. My mistake but just an FYI for others. With a chest pack there is plenty of room for a day hike. Most comfortable day pack I've ever had, with 20# load Junction and chest pack it's like carrying nothing.
Happy HPG customer here. I have a 2016 buttpack, belt, bottle holsters and bottles all from HPG. I was wondering if any shoulder strap harnesses you offer can accommodate the bottle holsters? I like my set up now but sometimes i need to carry more things for my dog and could use more space. I like the look of the tarrahumara or junction pack. We like running aswell as hiking and i like to have access to some things on the straps like a running vest.
Bought this pack myself had it for a 1 year and I honestly give I it a 6 out of 10. Didn’t enjoy the yoke being adjustable personal preference there; for $175 I would imagine them including retention bands so the straps in the yoke and chest area wouldn’t flap around. The straps them selfs are too wide especially for a pack this size and not very cushioned/padded.
I'll be doggone! I could swear YT stripped out the link altogether last time I tried that (which was years ago). Not only did YT leave the link in, it automatically hyperlinked it. Thanks for the heads up... off to do that with all of our product videos now.
Well, sign me up! I’m heading to the NRA Great American Outdoor Show in a few minutes and will be using my Tara to hold water, a minimalist camera kit and my jacket. That leaves little room for anything else. My AHBC is too big for this. This pack would be perfect!! Can you get one to PA is a few minutes? Lol
@@ORflycaster @mxv 2015 Thanks for the big laugh. It's a startling noise. This city dweller didn't know who was making it. But I liked it, and now I like it even more 🙃🤣
I’d forgotten about my comment, but also amazed at how quickly the last two years has passed! Being willing to learn new things to correct an ignorance is a healthy response. Being close-minded and bombastic like the OP is just shameful. I’m honored to create a few chuckles from the OP’s idiotic statement.
Looks like another winner. Nice colour combination as well. That extra small zippered pocket is definitely a usable addition. Nate
Glad to see y'all uploading more videos recently!
Sweet! I've been waiting for a video on this one for what seems like forever!

Perhaps, consider adding a link to the product in the description of the video.

What color is this?
Please stop making cool gear. Now I have to buy another pack. Love your products!
Can waders, wading boots and a small fly fishing pack fit inside of this pack ?
Heavy neoprene waders, no. Ultralight waders with smallish wading boots, probably.
