If you are thinking of 2 people being in the swag the dirty dee would be the better option. The dusk til dawn is a great swag but better for 1 person due to the sag in the sides and head height
Good question, I don't have one at hand to check sorry. From memory Darche use the SBS brand of zipper, but brand aside, they are of good quality and we see very few zipper issues with Darche products. ~ Ben
We were goung to do this recently, Mark, but while we have a few of these right now, supply of gear from 23Zero is causing all sorts of hassles for us at the moment and we didn't want to go reviewing a great product that you can't purchase. Once we know supply is reliable again we'll get onto it. Sorry for the delay, we've had the Outbreak on our todo list for ages now. ~ Ben
@@manfromcoo1968 23Zero make great gear and they are well priced. I'll admit that I haven't looked over the Outbreak in detail, but I have reviewed a lot of 23Zero gear and have been impressed with all of it to date. From what I have seen of the Outbreak I'm sure it is no exception and I'm confident you'll be stoked with your purchase. ~ Ben
It's on our list, we haven't forgotten about you Parkour Guy Sam. Oztrail are making a few changes to their swag range and we expect to see these changes within the next few months. It's mostly renamed models and it doesn't look like the Mitchell swags have seen any changes. But we'd rather make sure nothing has been updated before we create a product video for you.
Hey Parkour Guy Sam, we've done a quick video for you on one of our staff members' swags, we'll do some detailed video reviews once we've seen the newest stock come through, just in case the Mitchell Expedition has had any changes. I hope this will suffice for now, see the video here - ruclips.net/video/YgxCsPCZkkQ/видео.html
Hi ShoulderRollJason. Darche use a couple of different canvas materials for their swags, their regular canvas as used on the Dusk To Dawn is made in China, whilst their Maxtreme canvas is made in India. As for Burke and Wills, they are also now using a Chinese made canvas. It's important to know that whilst the perception is that anything made in China is cheap, there is also a lot of high quality product that comes out of the country. When you are looking at reputable brands like Darche and Burke and Wills, they are using overseas manufacturers so they can maintain competitive prices on their swags, but the mills that they use produce high quality canvas, and these companies are usually actively involved in the manufacturing process to ensure the canvas used is of the highest quality. I hope this gives you some confidence in the brands. ~ Ben
The canvas pretty much blocks all the light, Justin. With it all zipped up the only light that would be coming in is through any open windows and doors. ~ Ben
You can close each end ThrashMetal, there are zippered canvas panels at each end that cover the mesh underneath the awnings. You'd be fine in minus zero temperatures as long as you had a good sleeping bag and warm clothing as part of your sleep system. ~ Ben
@@magilla2567 I've just had a look at the Dusk To Dawn 1100 that we have on display and at each end, there is a zippered external mesh panel and a zippered internal canvas panel. Maybe I am misunderstanding something here, or there could be an older model you are referring to? ~ Ben
I'm pretty sure we've set one up in the shop Rob Godfrey, there is extra fabric that comes with the extra width, but once pitched properly I wouldn't say is was excessively saggy, and this shouldn't change over time. ~ Ben.
i guess im randomly asking but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any tips you can give me.
@Raylan Trevor i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
can you guys please do a video on the air-volution 1100 swag. would be amazing thank you so much, just place another order through you guys keen on these items to arrive
There are not many swags that wouldn't benefit from a mattress upgrade. The only trade-off with putting a thicker mattress in your swag is that it will be more difficult to roll up. Thanks for your feedback retry tobuy. ~ Ben

Good advice, tokken1122, the centre pole/s in the Dirty Dee certainly create more internal space. ~ Ben
Pack down demonstration would be good
It's probably time we updated this video and included a pack down process, I'll add it to our list. ~ Ben
does this swag fit on the darche Xl stretcher? cheers
The 900 would fit comfortably, Tim, and the 1100 would work too but it will overlap a little. ~ Ben
Great vids, what zips do the Darche have?

@@SnowysOutdoors thanks mate, keep up the great vids.
I’m 5 foot 1, do you reckon two people could fit in this if the other person is taller?
There are three sizes, k dunning, I think the 900 would be too tight, the 1100 would be tight but manageable, and the 1400 has space for two. ~ Ben
Great video. Does Ben know how famous he is.. Fricken rock star in my opinion... :)
🎸🤘. Not sure about famous, Tom, just an average Joe doing a job I enjoy. ~ Ben

Where is the darche swag canvas made? and the Burke and wills canvas where is the actual canvas made?.

Hi, how much of the light does the canvas block out?
The canvas pretty much blocks all the light, Justin. With it all zipped up the only light that would be coming in is through any open windows and doors. ~ Ben
Snowys Outdoors, thanks Ben. Was this tested outside in natural light or in the shop?
Is this swag okay to take out in minus zero degree conditions with the one end being permanently open?
