did you have power at the control? I checked these on mine. I had 0.0 on the smaller one and like 10.56 on the bigger one. Not sure if I need to replace these or not?
@@GEARMOAUTO I've got no power to anything. It worked great when I picked it up. Hooked it up today and I got nothin! Old dryer works fine but it's 15+ years old and my washer quit so I found a newer matching set.
@@kylebuzzCONFIRM THERE IS 220 VOLTS AT OUTLET. USUALLY NOT ENOUGH POWER WILL ONLY MAKE THE HEAT NOT WORK PROPERLY BUT IT MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH POWER. I HAD A SITUATION WHERE I ONLY HAD 120 VOLTS AT THE OUTLET BECAUSE LINT FILLED THE OUTLET. I WOULD ALSO open the control board and gently tap both relays with a hammer or something of the like. I am not sure if any of these components will cause no power. They might , I just don't know. SAMSUNG DRYER THERMAL FUSE REPLACEMENT. This is hands down the best video of how to replace the #Samsung_dryer #thermal_fuse. Every other video has you taking the dryer completely apart to include removing the drum. Thank you!
I concur that only the second component has that slot 😂 Thanks for this video. I must commend you because I have no idea how you did this through that back hole, let alone WHILE FILMING. Impressive.
If you replace the heat element and the heat element and the dryer stops producing heat, should it be the thermal fuse? My dryer is running but does not produce heat
My dryer display is not turning ON, and the display dosen't show anything. I am sure it gets power because the door lamp turns on and I checked and found that the plug and cord are fine. How could I check and see the broken part? Is this due to bad thermal fuse? Thank you.
@@hugoruizjuarez yes, I found the right part after driving an hour away in Los Angeles to an appliance parts store. Here is the most important thing… I didn’t have to tear the whole dryer apart… I removed the dryer exhaust hose and dryer exhaust sheet metal, and accessed the thermistor through that hole. It was tricky and you have to have a long arm and a magnetic screwdriver. But it was worth it to not have to do it the harder way.
Mine had a blinking red filter icon, though ducts and dryer vents were all clean as a whistle. No code, and this fixed it. Only after me changing the belt…the rollers…the pulley…a big screw 😂 I had a thumping and then the dryer would stop before it really got started. If you suspect these parts use your volt meter on them to check

What was your dryer doing that made you change out these fuses?
Clicking noise and not starting
You saved me a lot of money. Thanks. You the man.
Are the part numbers for the thermistor and thermal fuse the same for all Samsung Dryers?
Yes best video available for any skill set!
If you replace one do you replace both?
I have the same question. Did you find your answer?

@@TomBVoxman I checked all the fuses and found one of them is not working. I am going to change it.
There is a slot in both ;)
I replaced the thermal fuse and the thermistor and there are still no signs of life with the dryer. What’s next?
Same here do you figure it out

These dryers are so easy to take apart it’s crazy to work like that

One of your resistor replacements is out of its slot, might want to fix that....🤦
Which one?
@@GEARMOAUTO at 2:58 you can see the one on the left is out of slot.
I caught that, too. Is it a problem if it's not in the slot?
