Awesome build
Thanks for watching.
It's coming together! Looking good!
👍😎👍
Thank you. Can't wait.
Thank you both for your update, especially yours Sella, I enjoy when both are active in the vlog.
Thanks
Amazing property amazing couple you guys
Thank you very much for saying that.
I have some similar plans, but probably smaller scale. I plan on having a centralized hwt, is that what you have or smaller tanks for each bath and laundry? I also plan to do interior construction with aluminum studs and sheetrock to make moving outlets a lot easier. Plus, I don't want to hammer drill anytime I want to attach something to the wall. Are you going to mount tge aircon condensers in the attic space? That is my plan, I don't like the look of the condensers on the outside. What is your plan for insulating/ventilating attic space? You also could have installed hwt in attic to free up floor space. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Each room with have it's own water heater. Instant heat, no tanks. The condensers will be mounted outside but I'm places not obvious. The soffits will be perforated and there are 8 roof vents at the top of the roof. Thanks.
I was just curious if you guys are planning on doing a pool in the future
The landscaping and electrical are prepped for one. We shall see.
My Wife and me starting soon also to building a church and a showroom for my vintage cars on our new mansion ranch in the Philippines
new subscriber here great video Guys
Thanks and good luck.
I have same thing, long side window,we had glass guy get someone to paint beautiful flowers and birds on the inside so light came in but hard to see outside looking in,,also have decorative bars on the inside so no one can break glass and reach in and open door also we have dead bolt needs key to open on both sides of the door,,just a thought,,😊
Interesting points. Thanks for sharing.
I hate the look of bars on windows. I plan to do a shutter system that can close and lock if going to be away from house for extended period of time. Other than that, family will keep an eye out if it's just a quick grocery trip.
@@RayinthePhillipinesCCTV everywhere in the property.
It makes difference been on site. During our build pandemic prevented us from been in Philippines.
The bathroom looks fabulous 😊😊
Did you get any video sent on the progress? That probably helped some. Thanks.
@KevinParent248 Yes Sister-in-laws and nephew sent lots of videos so I see the construction but we're were not able to get out and select materials However we shipped kitchen and couch appliances. Anyway due to pandemic shops in Cebu hand no stock
Our took from deposit almost 3yrs.
@@graemescebuphilippines363that's a long time for sure.
Impressive build, a leap of faith, for an American in a foreign Country.
Thanks and yes.
I think you can use the corner, but I would center the tiles in the hallway so you would not have a cut on one side put cuts on both sides
Thanks for the help. The hallway tiles will have full tiles across. At least that's my memory from when we did a quick layout.
@ house is coming along great really like the guys putting in the extra work working in the rain. Sella is doing a great job.
@@danielsimms3361thank you
You are doing a great job.
Thank you.
Nice your using thresholds to keep the critters out. Not sure why it’s not a common practice there.
Agreed. Thanks
Great video. We are taking inspiration from you for our build coming up next year. wish i had your budget...
Thank you. Good luck with your build.
It looks great. You are down to paint, tiles, and windows and doors . Plus the electrical
Getting excited for sure
I would love that rain we got 6 feet of snow yesterday
I don't miss any of that. 6'? Where are you?
Upstate New York, lake affect snow zone
Did you get a 13a visa or a SRRV? I am trying to find out which one is better.
@@MariaHoffertI'm from Michigan. I can't remember ever getting that much from 1 storm.
@@MariaHoffertI paid $20,000 deposit and got the SRRV. Thanks.
Nicely done,,looking good,,thanks for sharing,,😊
Thank you.
Sorry if you’ve addressed this before but are you using any sort of insulation in the ceiling space. Cheers guys absolutely love the build you have done an amazing job making it all come together.
@@jackhellmann no insulation. Good ventilation though.
love the video's keven and sella's my wife and i are coming to the philippines in march for a month she actually grew up about six hours down the road from were you guys are building just woundering if you can recommend any good resorts some were in between thankyou keep up the great video's.
Thank you. I'll ask Sela to reply to the resorts.
Roughly what do you think total cost would be in American dollars, how many total square feet of house
Not including the land should come in around something just over $200,000. The square foot is just over 3000 SQ ft plus the car port. Thanks.
Is the cow is still alive ? Lol😅
It wasn't ours so I have no idea. I may have even eaten some of it as I have a steak for dinner every night. 🤣🤣🤣
You mentioned that you are the contractor , do you have any building experience or are you replying on your foreman and workers for the knowledge to execute your vision ?
I designed and built 2 homes back in Michigan. So yes, I have experience, but lack some knowledge due to different building practices here. Thanks.
hello,
your wife's house looks wonderful
i have a few comments ...
i am not sure why you need a dryer in the Philippines ... better for your health to dry them under the sun or on the garage area ... better for the cloths too, cause the dryer eats the cloths fast ...
the tiles for the bathrooms ... hmmmm it looks like bathroom in the subway area ...
the little corner shelves in the bathrooms ... why don't you make a long shelve from one corner to the other and maybe 4 or 6in wide
the doors are wooden ... did you treat them for termites ... but from all sides before you install them ??
do you make the fence with cheap materials and maybe 1x4x5 mix ?? or what ??
stay healthy
stay cool
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks
I also plan to have a dryer...I do not like the look of clothes hanging outside...looks cluttered to me and takes away from any landscaping you do.
@@RayinthePhillipinesand the clothes are more stiff if hung in a line. Thanks.
So how old are you both please? I watch a vlog with a guy who’s 37 years older than his wife. I myself am 12 years older than my wife of 23 years….
28 year age gap. Thanks.
