After going through chemo myself two years ago I felt like it just took so much out of me. I ended up at 37 getting my first round of fillers and Botox and was done by a doctor and conservatively and I couldn’t be happier. You look absolutely gorgeous and thank you for sharing ❤
Your so blessed your autoimmune disease doesn't attack your lip filler...I have gone through 2 syringes in 6 months. I can't afford to do that
Have these products had carcinogenicity testing carried out?
The fact that you used a MAC facechart to show the placement of your procedures literally had me in tears🥹. It transports me back to the golden years of my life and you were part of them✨. If you know, you know. 🧛🏻♀️🖤
I took a low-dose chemo for about 8 years for autoimmune disease, so I totally understand how you feel about it affecting your skin! Plus, my mouth corners turn down naturally, and now, at 39, it's really starting to bum me out. I decided to see a plastic surgery about Botox, and after 3 sessions of it now, I'm hooked. I get very little (about 50-55 units), including the bits he puts under my mouth to stop my mouth from drooping. I always tell my friends to go to a plastic surgeon because they know how the muscles in your face work, and when you're going to freeze those muscles for the next few months, you want it done right!
You look wonderful, and I'm happy you're feeling better about yourself! It's certainly a privilege when we get to make these slight improvements for ourselves, and that's never, ever lost on me. But feeling good about your appearance after a long illness is important and, sometimes, priceless ♥
Thanks for sharing. I love my botox and laser resurfacing and feel it's done a good job keeping me looking good for the past five years. I see a nurse practitioner who has been doing it for almost 20 years. I'm about to turn 44 but have also started saving for a neck/face lift as I can tell that like my mum and nan I am going to develop very loose skin under my chin/down my neck. Really appreciate the transparency. It's so nice having you back on YT 💜
I love your transparency! Thank you so very much! I also have an autoimmune disorder and I am prone to hives, so I’ve been terrified of all of it! I’m so glad you didn’t have reactions. Beautiful before and beautiful after!
Does it hurt fillers and botox?
You look incredible nic. Before and after. Super natural- and I’m so glad that you’re feeling happier after going for it. Xx
it looks great and natural …. i endured a lot of trauma for over 5 years so that aged me plus i lost the years so i hear you .
it’s really nice to have you back ☺️
You are absolutely looking at your best! You shine! Seeing you is a pleasure for the eyes! I went through chemo, radiation, hormone therapy, and it is mostly psychologically that I'm struggling to get back to normal. I think my skin looks acceptable for now, the most damage was suffered by my hair. Hugs and best wishes! ❤
I am so pleased you have been honest about your use of injectables. So many people and especially famous people lie about these tweakments and I believe it makes women feel worse because they wonder why they don’t look that way… but the real reason is injectables and surgery. You look great ❤
You can see that the great, but very natural looking, work you've had done has given you an extra sparkle that is only adding to it all. I have fillers and botox done by a top doctor and I couldnt be more happy with myself at nearly 55 now ❤
Thank you for sharing. I am terrified of needles so I cannot have any of this done. But it’s fascinating to hear about. I am a fan of facials like you mention. I am booked in for radio frequency facial at Joanna Vargas NYC next week. Cannot wait
You look great.
I've been doing Botox for 10+ yrs now & I do fillers periodically. I love it. Both are done conservatively. I do have an auto-immune disease & I've had no adverse reactions- thank goodness!
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:14
You look fabulous, Nic, with or without makeup and it's great to have you back. ❤
That was a brilliant explanation of all treatments and areas of treatment, you look fresh and healthy, love you xxxx
Thank you so much for talking about it! It’s so much more common than people realize because there’s still reticence to talk about the things we do to make ourselves look and feel better!
You look more gorgeous than ever and I'm so glad you're doing well :)
I've always wanted to have Botox but I've never had the nerve yet - but I happened to meet an esthetic doctor at a party and when I do decide to go for it, I'll go to her.
Love the content as I get older s/p cancer treatment it definitely helped me so much more that I am listening to someone that can relate to my experiences. Especially “skin just hanging on my bones”
You look stunning! It looks so natural like you had nothing done.... excellent job!...I'm struggling with health issues and I'm your age...I wish you good health and happiness!
You look fantastic and you’re very kind to share the details of your tweakments, xx
You look incredible so natural and refreshed. I’ve had Botox for a few years now and started a little bit of filler too last year and will never look back! ❤
My mother never put anything on my skin and I started from scratch as well. Some of us girls never have that and I’ve learned a lot from you.
I think it looks very natural. You don’t see that something has been done. You look gorgeous 💕
Dont touch your bottom lip, your lips are gorgeous xx
I have just found this channel and was mesmerized by her lips and wondered what kind of lipstick she used, then I glanced down at the comments and yours was at the top….I chuckled cause she does have gorgeous lips! ………Adding more to my comment…….. I have just got to the point where she lets everyone know that she has had lip filler, I agree she doesn’t need more, not sure what her lips looked like before as I’m working my way thru the videos but I do think the Doctor did a fabulous job.
Good for you Nic. You look very nice. I have not done anything, and I haven't considered yet. It's fascinating to listen to people experiences. Thank you for being honest in front of the lens.
You look stunning without makeup. With or without fillers ❤
Thank you. You look great. Very natural. I just had my first fillers and Botox yesterday.
Yes you are such a stunning beauty, I love just looking at you!! I am so glad that ur feeling better, that is so important. But I see an inner beauty that you possess, so deep and precious. Thankyou for sharing. We all love you to bits, with or without makeup, botox or fillers, remember that always xxx
Thank you Christine. X
Thank you SO much Nic for putting this video out. It was very informative! You look stunning!!
Looking absolutely fabulous, love seeing small and subtle tweaks done well 😀
I rarely comment on videos but I must mention, as an Aesthetics Practitioner myself, I hate the whole ‘go to a doctor’ comment.
I administer dermal fillers and toxins to medical professionals on a daily basis and they’re the first to admit they have no formal or in depth training on the facial anatomy as standard. I’ve been in training courses with doctors and nurses, we all receive the same training.
Yes it’s a bonus that some of them go on to do their prescribers course and can prescribe for themselves, but many don’t. Any reputable Aesthetics Practitioner works with clinical oversight at all times, which allows us access to emergency items such as Hyaluronidase to dissolve dermal filler if needs be.
I’ve worked hard for 8 years in this industry, invested over 40k and a hell of a lot of blood/sweat/tears. So please forgive me for my rant, but it’s such a common misconception that you can only go to doctors for these treatments. However I agree that people need to do their research to ensure they’re in safe hands.
Thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you I also should have been clearer in her video when I mentioned doctors to actually see one that specialises in facial anatomy or professionals that have done further courses and certifications to be experts in their field. X
But as I said, you look incredible 😍
Thank you so much for your informative video!
Now I understand why my fillers always look swollen and inflammed. I'm having a "flare up" right now and they look so awful.
Had a botched job and got it dissolved. My joints are in agony and haven't been right since.
My skin feels looser also.
You’re beautiful, inside & out, before & after! I’m glad you did what makes you feel your personal best. Thank you for this video!
I love this video, I absolutely agree with research. I took so long before I found my cosmetic surgeon and she is the best, very natural results.
You look gorgeous..
Do what makes you feel happy hun ❤❤
You look amazing and Im so happy for you❤ Love your character too, always!
You look lovely, Nic, thank you very much for being so honest. I also have an autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis) and am 48. With my skin I’m very lucky genetically and don’t feel the need to have anything done yet. However, I would like to have my teeth whitened. Do you know of a good cosmetic dentist? Have you had any dental work done? Your teeth certainly look lovely. Anyway, I would be very grateful for any advice about cosmetic dentistry, how much it costs etc. That was a really interesting video, thank you! xx
Continue doing whatever you feel necessary. You have a great eye for what looks good/ great, and whatever you elect to do will look absolutely stunningly beautiful!
Your curls always looks lovely and seperated, what hair product did you use please😊
You look absolutely gorgeous girl! I’ve had some fillers in my lips and in my cheekbones and `I’m 39 in july. You don’t need any “excuse “at all. If you want it, then that’s it :)
We are all decaying and dying in the physical realm. That is why the skin gets looser. One day closer to death every day, whether you’ve gone through chemo or not. We are all dying and there’s a lot more loss of physical beauty to come. It comes faster and faster all the time; don’t let it make you sad. Invest in the eternal.
♡
I understand what you mean but this is still such a gloomy way to look at life.
@@90sHONEY On the contrary, it is gloomy only if you’re focused on the physical. That’s the dying part that gets uglier by the day and we have absolutely no power to slow it down or make it stop. That does not make me sad at all, and to those who are saddened by it, consider that God wants you to be aware of your upcoming physical death for a reason- and that reason is not so that you will try to look pretty as you die. :) Get serious about what it means.
I completely understand. I went through Chemo and radiation as well. I started seeing the adverse affect on my skin almost after a year. Now I look older than my age. All these beauty treatments are way expensive so I guess I have to live with my horrible skin now.😢
You can do one by one : I do the same thing it’s your gift, begin with the most important for you
I'm so glad that you're back on RUclips and feeling better. You were missed! Xx
Wow! You look gorgeous! You were beautiful before but I really see such a difference to before! Looking more healthy and fresh!! Thank you so much for sharing, too! 🤗
My face fell after chemo as well. We gotta do what we gotta do sister❤❤
Nutrition is the only way to bring your skin back. You can not regenerate cellular growth dumping chemicals into and onto your body and not eating living food. If you're not fighting disease, you're feeding it. I sincerely hope you can bring yourself to this level of reasoning.
I have a extremely good diet. X
I was brought up on health food but when you have certain autoimmune diseases and take horrible medications for it you don’t absorb nutrients nor can you eat all foods. So you keep trying as best you can with whatever you can.
Thankyou so much for sharing...I now have a better understanding of what these procedures are and what they can do for your face.
You look Great !! Thank you for being honest about what you have done . I am 41 and I have noticed my skin is changing and I have got Botox done and it makes me feel better and look better too !!!
You look beautiful. This is filler and Botox done right! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for a very informative and honest video. You look absolutely beautiful and most importantly you like yourself just a little bit younger and fresher version of you.
Very informative video 👌🏼 I would love a little bit of Botox, but my hubby days I don’t need it. I just like a little now that is natural like yours. You look amazing 😍 x
Ps I’m hunting for new glasses and have been looking at TF glasses. But hasn’t found the right pair yet. Can you tell me what style number yours are, as the look just the ticket and work a try 🤓 x
Can you please bring back the videos from pixiwoo. I was so sad to try to go back to a look and they are gone. They were so good! I was looking for the red look that sam did. Hope all is well. Love to you both!
Gorgeous before gorgeous now 🥰 thanks for sharing nic xxx
Love the Mac face chart! ❤ thank you for this video, exactly what I was looking for. I’m 35 and considering some fillers, appreciate the advice and tips 👍
You always look beautiful but must say this has just gilded the lily . You look stunning but natural. Most importantly is you are happy especially after what you have been through health wise. ❤
What you’ve done looks great, you look very nice and bright.
It's interesting that so many people who have had cancer and chemo treatment do not research if a product is carcinogenic before using them. Likewise, people with autoimmune conditions are not reaearching if a product is toxic or inflammatory.
So excited to watch this. Have my first botox consultation soon and looking to learn more before I make any decisions
You are so lovely! You look amazing. I’m so glad you’re happy with your results. I think they look absolutely amazing.
so informative. what is revive, I missed that part.
Absolutely love the part when she is confused about when a msg came up about having trouble connecting to the network, and she is wondering who is having trouble.... Love it makes me laugh.
I had post chemo changes too - both as you describe and in skincare needs too. I’ve done the tox, but the filler intrigues me.
You and your sister are just LOVELY! ty
You look amazing!! ❤What vitamins do you take ??
Thanks for sharing! All the best to you! ❤️
Gosh! I didn't know you were back. Yaay 👏👏 I shall subscribe again 🙈😊
The only thing I'm mot too happy with on my face is my hooded eyes, apart from that I'm OK with the wrinkles etc lol
I love how natural and of course beautiful you look. I've done a few things as well. Thanks for sharing and happiness is everything.
You should do what you feel is right for you having a auto immune disease plays havoc with looking tired etc if it’s what you wanted to do you should do it don’t listen to others
Thank you xx
Thank you for this. I’ve been thinking of having fillers in similar area to you for a while now.
You look amazing!
My main concern is the pain side, how does it feel?
I’ve had Botox for years but never fillers. Xx
I don’t find it painful at all but so I have been told I have a reasonably high pain threshold. X
They always use numbing cream for my under eye fillers. It doesn’t really feel much different than botox. Because fillers attract water you will be swollen in the area the next day and maybe slightly tender especially if you bruise but overall it’s an easy process and recovery.
@@ank5083 thank you for that. I think I may have to book myself in!x
Thankyou! I’m showing your chart to my Doctor!🥰🌈🦋🌺🌺🌺
I know you will probably never see this but after listening to you I think it is the chemo that is causing the skin on the face to hang. I had over ten years of IV Cytoxan & 7 years of oral chemo staring at 23 (which also caused premature menopause in my mid 20’s which I could not take HRT because of blood clots & past strokes). I’ve been off of chemo drugs (because my neutrophils stopped bouncing back) for around 10 years. In my mid 30’s I noticed my mounts started to look downturned & in the last few months it looks so much worse… I have a permanent frown!! Plus my brows have fallen dramatically too. My mother is in her 70’s & doesn’t have a downturned mouth nor have her brows dropped & no one in my family has this issue . Even the skin on my body has been hanging .. I first started noticing around 15 or so years ago & when I lost some muscle (my body stopped absorbing protein) it only made it look worse.
Anyway after listening to you I totally think this is all a side effect of the chemo!! Sadly its one side effect they don’t tell you about. I guess I can’t complain, they didn’t expect me to make it to 30 & now I’m in my mid 40’s but it’s really hard when you look in the mirror & can’t stand the way your skin looks. We are blessed to be alive but we still want to look as good as possible or at least feel we look presentable. I’m very glad you seem to be doing well, best wishes to you and your family!!!! ❤
Your hair looks super cute. It suits you.
Oh, I had no idea you had chemo. Glad you’re ok.
What a fabulous video that is so informative and you look bloody amazing 🔥🔥🔥
im 33 and am looking into a small amount of botox in my forehead ,this video was super helpful!
Going through chemo puts your body and skin through hell. Whatever you can do after to make yourself feel better is VALID. I think your fillers and Botox looks really good. You don’t look “done”at all.
Thank you xx
Hilarious - "your network is having trouble" my god Siri or Alexa or whoever....geez!!! Always messing into things. Thank you for sharing! You look amazing!
You looked lovely before but if you’re happier now that’s all that matters and thanks for advising people to use a doctor.
All the rich and famous get Thermage FX - I get it too- you may want to try it! It stimulates collagen and is huge here in the USA. I think you’d love it. Also, you’re beautiful and a champion! ❤
Did I miss it or don’t have to go do this again in a few months?? That can start to make things complex and quirky results and pricey!
You look amazing girl! So natural!
Ever so impressed thank you 🙏 for all the info and your honesty you look fab best wishes maura in Ireland 🇮🇪
I love that you are back on RUclips, I always really enjoyed your videos plus I'm from good ole Norwich as well 😉. But I have to ask, why aren't you teaching your son to look after his skin as well? Just because he's a boy doesn't mean that he shouldn't cleanse and moisturise. If you are then great! But if you aren't perhaps you could consider it?
Revive?? I don't pick up this treatment in SA??
Oh nic i imagine your treatment was in the uk do you have any recommendations for Dublin ireland
Goodness your hair looks fantastic!
That’s the most expensive filler and Botox I have ever come across! 😮 Yes I have had both with different doctors over the years. You look amazing tho 🎉
I have had both fillers and botox and have two autoimmune diseases, but for me, I have never had a problem.
After everything you have gone through with your medical treatments for ms it’s a shame you feel like you had to do none medical treatments but I totally agree and understand why it’s best to go with a dr who has good knowledge and ability to help if there any issues
I love this look..you look so fresh and awake..not startled or surprised at all! Amazing!
Thank you xx
You look fantastic.. thanks for sharing your treatment journey …
You look lovely! I am a firm believer if you feel you need something and can afford it, go for it! Thank you for being so transparent, wish more could be up front and honest like you.
you look gorgeous. I love your transparency x
You look absolutely beautiful, stunning !!! I always love you
I totally get the feeling - but it also makes me realize we are our own worst critic - you look lovely both ways.
Thank you for the chart and explanation!!!
Your hair is adorable.
I think your bottom lip is in proportion to the top lip here. As in it is bigger so give a natural result. You look great!! I’ve book a consultation for Botox at end of the month I’m terrified but I’ve been putting off off forever and I genuinely have age 10 years in the last 5. Wish I started at 25 lol…. 33 in may for reference. I would love fillers but I’m scared I’ll get addicted tbh.
You look amazing, worth every penny!! ❤❤
You’re so gorgeous. Love that you do exactly what you want!
This is your life - you get to make the rules. ❤
