There are those that with in a oppressive system that reaches out. The message of freedom and equality is always a great message. To bad humans are selfish and greedy. We truly could live in peace. Ppl just can’t. This messages is amazing. I believe in it. To bad their are others who don’t

This has been one of my favourite songs since I first heard it. I like everything about it, the sound, the words, the message she is delivering is so well done she truely wants people to be equal. Share this song, share the love.
Who knew this was celebrating an anti-apartheid hero? I didn't. Miriam Makeba. so cool ✌️ ❤ "Jain was born in France but spent some years in Congo. The song is about Miriam Makeba, a singer & songwriter from South Africa & one of the world's most popular anti-apartheid activists. She was fondly called “Mama Africa”
Yes, during a commercial is when I FIRST time that heard PART of this song! It was mashed up with a modern version of an VERY POPULAR Italian opera! I believe that it was for some kind of car advertisement, but the make and model escape my mind at the moment!
I didn't know this was an "older" song, but also nice when a song becomes a trend and the entire song is basically the same. I hate when I like a part of a trending song and then you listen to the entire song, but the one popular part was the only part you end up liking. Not the case here.
Kept hearing to song on the radio did quite catch the words . Until one day just taking my time listening to the lyrics carefully. Now I get it and can't stop listening to it .
está genial la mezcla afrodisíaca que hizo Jain es una cancion tan adictiva (en el buen sentido) y sensacional me gusta mucho . muy original. mezcla de ritmos y culturas entregando mensajes y recordando a Mama Africa
I been hearing this song for days, and becoming earworms , lol. Then I decide to type "oiii maketa nanana maketa uii", and finally found this masterpiece .

I’m so happy to see a new generation discovering this music! I don’t know how I was introduced to Jain when this album was new (maybe because of my algorithm/political interests) but I’m so grateful. Now this music colors the memories I have from 6 years ago or so, a very intense period of growth-both painful and euphoric in equal measure. It has become part of my consciousness, especially the extended version of “Come.” I will never not feel elation when I hear that song, it is like being in love. No, seriously-it floods my head with dopamine more than any other song I can think of. Her ecstasy is contagious! If you haven’t heard it yet what are you waiting for ?! Go, now! 😅❤ May you make good memories to carry with you when times are hard, and if times are hard for you now I wish you peace and love.
Best song I’ve ever heard. May the Lord always bless Africa.💎✨
Thanks Jain, because of you, I found about Miriam Makeba and her fighting against segregation in South Africa and that she was a Xhosa speaker! Wow!
The most beautiful tribute that can be paid to an artist such as the great Makeba thanks Jain ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I thought this song was released just last month but it's been 6 years... Sometimes social media is really useful to find great music.
🚢
This song sounds very 2016. Has the same vibe of Play That Sax by Fleur East
It's used in American Dad! Episode!

Et oui, et en plus, complètement Toulousian: modern, ancien, humain. C'est le vibe de Toulouse, non ? ❤
Merci d'avoir été là quand personne ne connaissait cette chanson. Tu es l'un des pionniers et je suis fier de toi.

Although I see that she wanted to make this song because she was inspired by her African singer friend.
