Wow! You don’t know how many times I’ve read that verse and not saw it clearly until now. “Saved by grace through faith.” It is faith that releases grace into our lives! Grace is defined in Strongs Concordance as “the divine influence on the heart and its reflection in the life.” It is faith that releases grace for salvation and for growing in Him.
This message has answered so many of my questions, as well as confirmed so many of my thoughts about the supernatural, faith, grace, etc.. i did not have enough confidence in my relationship with God to trust that my thoughts were coming from Him. Praise God, he never gives up on us, He is going to get it to us somehow!
Thank you so much for this message. It really just helped me see that Faith isn't something I have to try working to obtain, rather it's already a gift. I just have to stand in what's already true regardless of how I feel. Many times, like Dan said, I don't feel like a Saint, and often I've just declared and confessed truth but only to get a feeling and what I didn't realise is that I was putting faith in my own faith, rather than in God's grace. Praise God it's the truth, period. Not because I make it true.
