KRY really passes down the title of best ballad trio to Chen-Baek-D.O. Both trio have vocals that are already very colorful. I just hope that they would work on their technique more and more because I'm also a singer and it's so painful sometimes to see them doing the high notes with all their neck veins shown like Yesung had at the beginning of this video. Also I hope they won't force themselves to keep doing high notes since it could be dangerous if it's too excessive. Anyway SM is so lucky to have these super talented groups.

True, he was able to project more back then but his vocals was so raw. And some of his techniques put a strain on his vocals which affected him. But since recovering from vocal modules, he has been taking care of his voice and he has gotten better with his techniques. He sounds so much polished now and while some of his high notes may not sound resonant as before, they are more punchy and impactful. A number of reactors who are versed in singing or music have often commented how Yesung could sing beyond his comfort range and sound so impactful, and these comments are more prevalent with his live performances after Devil era. I seriously love his voice now because he sounds so much more polished and he's gotten so much better with his dynamics moving from low to high notes.
