Today is a difficult day for me because my granddaughter’s birthday is tomorrow, she will be five, and I have not been allowed to see her. It’s been five months. Thank you ladies for reminding me God is in control. Pray for me that my faith and resilience is strengthened. I believe the Lord has great plans for me. Amen!
Sergio, I have prayed for your strength and resilience and also that the Lord would guide you in how to find ways of connecting to your granddaughter’s parent(s). Prayer does lead to action that God is faithful to guide us towards 🙌🏼
I have had 4 beautiful children that were alienated from me, so I really understand how you feel. Birthdays and holidays can be brutal. Prayer IS the solution.

Praying without ceasing. It's a real thing!!! Why talk to yourself when God hears you? Why get caught up in all your own thoughts when you can discuss them with the one who made you. Why struggle alone with things when you can ask for instructions from the one who will never leave you? Why laugh at yourself alone when God can laugh with you?

There’s a lazy mindset because of the ways SOME (not all) pastors preach. Many preach that you don’t have to work at it, you don’t have to take that step. Have heard it over and over . So thank you for speaking the TRUTH and telling it live it IS! 🙏🏼✝️

I love how God wanted me to wait until a version of myself possessing much more clarity and discernment to come across you two ladies. I was listening to the scriptures while fasting and praying for my Mother, other family members and people in General last night, and I noticed not only a change in the people who are around me and myself, but my Mother. I said, after experiencing a stroke twelve years ago, I refuse to give up on what God says.
Today, m weight is 105.13 lbs, 18 BMI which I still find hard to believe because I have so little body fat. I can't pinch an inch., BP 115/72 and pulse 73.

I understand what you are experiencing, I too am surrounded by very negative people, some say they are saved, yet are conforming to their surroundings.
You know if you don't conform your reputation is shredded, totally torn apart.
All you can do is trust God will bring you out.

The Word of God clearly explanes this, it is the fact that we are a product of 6000 years of human exsistence without our Maker, and void of a true relationship with our Father in heaven. This distance from our Father made us orphans and we are spiritualy lost children who grow up and are shaped in a world that is in the grip of sin and death. like a child that tries to make the best of beeing spiritualy homeless it does not work you need to come home.
Our Maker our Father's call is through His Son His Word.

I remember hearing someone say that they never pray longer than 20 minutes but he doesnt go more than 20 minutes without praying. I always thought that was an interesting idea.

Priscilla: "We change in prayer." Her words here are absolutely spot on and we have to understand this, that we pray to endure, how to proceed, enabling us to navigate these difficult situations. It is a life changing experience.

Realizing I'm in a state of self absorption after so many years of trying to have a beautiful family, let me humbly ask you to pray for me. I'm 54 and find myself having worked on my roommates problems which are worth praying for, but I neglected what I wanted when I first got here, which was reconnecting with my children's, now 18 and 22. I am personally responsible, I understand, but it is excruciating to see that I robbed my children and myself of having a mother during their high school years. I am hateable,because I kept drinking as a coping mechanism, and I keep trying to change, but it feels all too late to really bond with the children I love. Is there a place for me in this family I removed myself from? In guilt and shame but understanding God may have me where he wants me, at a loss still. Thank you. Paula in Virginia, USA

Prayer does not bring God down to us but brings us up to Him......Daily Prayer is as essential to growth in Grace, and even to spiritual life itself, as is temporal food to physical well-being. I always enjoy of Dr Leaf. I remember back in the ‘90 when she was on the Robinson show and I bought her books only available in Africa.
This was awesome and so timely for me! I'm currently in a season of busyness and its frustrating to carve out an hour a day to connect with God, but learning to connect with God throughout the day and learning to "restin the busyness" was life-changing advice! Praise the LORD for this message!

I so appreciate Christian scientist, so thankful God brought into my path and I'm a huge fan of Priscilla so this was amazing. Love this. Praise the Lord for Him caring enough to bring things like this into our lives, He loves and cares for us so much.
That was a total GOD tip you gave in reference to praying for others, Dr. Leaf. Too often we pray a quick prayer when someone comes our way but really they are begging for a listening ear and if we're regularly connected with Father in our own prayer life, we will be more in tune with what someone REALLY needs.

I have read about you or your findings years back on a leaflet and intrigued. I love that it came out that perspective of those who endure focus on what does God want not what do I want, reminded me of her Daddy sharing of gis Baltimore childhood and her Grampa taking any honourable work he could get when the $ was not there for food to the water and the fish from it were supper. Lots of good points. I found myself trying to block Dr Leafs interruptions in order to fully absorb what Priscilla had to say. When there are guests my mind expects questions from the interviewer and answers from the interviewee sans numerous interruptions. My brain has a hard time with this.
