- My road trip plan, 4-night at Bahia Honda State Park FL was cut short due to hurricane Adalia approaching.... Had a choice, go home or find another camp site... Kissimmee Prairie State Park FL had been on my radar for a long time, now was the perfect time. The storm was circling way out in the gulf heading for the big bend of Florida... In my estimate the most I would feel would be the tips of the outer bands... Reservation made and the road trip venture continued... For the record, very nice campground... will have to go back for the 'Dark Sky' observation... This visit was cloudy...
