awesome video man. i think for reels the baitcasters r the best option: mainly cause of the auto engage, making it very cast to click in gear as soon as the lure hits the bottom, plus with slow jigging low drag is a must so drags on baitcasters aint an issue well at least for me personally. look forward to the day wen i get to try this method in super deep water

Both have their pluses and minuses I’d say you’re right on the auto engage but I do like how this reel had a huge capacity of line and also has some serious grunt for when I swap it over to other rods and use SPJ or other things where I can put a bit more drag on!

20lb on both for the most part but can go 15-30lb without any problems
