  • My take on how I use sliding lures and kaburas to maximum effect! They’re a hugely popular lure which are fun to use. These are my own opinions on how to maximise your success and catch rate on these style of lures.
Other names for them are tai kabura, dotera Baku Baku, kabura, slider but they all follow the same principles I run over in this how to!
Please leave a comment if you have any questions or tips you think I’m missing out on! And thanks for watching!!

awesome video man. i think for reels the baitcasters r the best option: mainly cause of the auto engage, making it very cast to click in gear as soon as the lure hits the bottom, plus with slow jigging low drag is a must so drags on baitcasters aint an issue well at least for me personally. look forward to the day wen i get to try this method in super deep water

Thank you very much mate! Yes I’ve dabbled with baitcasters! Both have their pluses and minuses I’d say you’re right on the auto engage but I do like how this reel had a huge capacity of line and also has some serious grunt for when I swap it over to other rods and use SPJ or other things where I can put a bit more drag on!
