This is great stuff. Thats so awesome that john let her up on stage, wow. The Dolls always put on a great show. Me and my whole family just went to the Goo Goo Dolls concert last nite at PNC Arts center in NJ 8-13-2022. Amazing concert. The Dolls didnt let us down.
I had a chance to sit down with them at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach South Carolina in 2007. They're so open and cool to be around, I also sang Iris that night 🌉

She was pretty good. She showed no fear. Lenny Kravitz had his crew pull my daughter up on the stage and sing back up, he jumped into the crowd, ran around playing guitar and singing up and down the aisles. He left her up there for quite a long time and she didn't freeze up. What an experience for her she'll never forget. The Woodlands Pavilion north of Houston..frigging awesome
He was ahead of all the red flags! Haha, He mentions her dad "just to make sure" yall know what I'm talking about. LOL And then kept his distance and avoided physical contact as much as he could! Well done John! thumps up!!
John couldn’t wait to get off the stage after that and probably won’t do that again in the near future. Lmfaoooo. He should change the song from iris to run it’s Zia coming!!!! Lol.
As long as you're being honest, if you just happened to be the "rando" presented with this extremely rare and unique opportunity to join one of your favorite bands live on stage to sing the closing chorus of their biggest hit, would you pass on it for the reasons you stated? And at that point, when John picked a rando to come up on stage and get her 15 famous minutes, EVERYONE at that show was there to see her sing. Remember Chelsea, of all the Seven Deadly Sins, ENVY is the most mentally self-destructive. Have a great day :)

They have a sound that radiates through generations! They were big when I was growing up, but I didn’t start liking them until now in my late 30s.
