- John asked a young fan to come on stage and finish off the song Iris with the band on the first show of the tour, she was super excited!
She was more energy than John was expecting lol
What can anyone say she sounded great and was full of energy and life and lived in the moment and will remember that the rest of her life.

I like how some people try to be so supportive to people that actually sucks what they do, but hey, i guess you live in America and its a free country where people can be what ever they want, i dont judge. Goo Goo Dolls Iris has to be in the top 10 greatest songs ever written cause I can play this song over and over and it never gets boring.

For some reason...a 65 year old man like me....cries like a RIVER when I hear this...a special ENERGY flows through this song...and I can't GET ENOUGH of it. Love me my goo goo dolls and I just discovered them...a special place their sounds takes me...I am SURE i am not ALONE. thank u.
They have a sound that radiates through generations! They were big when I was growing up, but I didn’t start liking them until now in my late 30s.

This is great stuff. Thats so awesome that john let her up on stage, wow. The Dolls always put on a great show. Me and my whole family just went to the Goo Goo Dolls concert last nite at PNC Arts center in NJ 8-13-2022. Amazing concert. The Dolls didnt let us down.

I had a chance to sit down with them at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach South Carolina in 2007. They're so open and cool to be around, I also sang Iris that night 🌉
Goo Goo Dolls & John especially are one of my all time favorite bands. I’ve sung Iris many times onstage but would probably fall to pieces if John invited me onstage to sing it with him.
He was ahead of all the red flags! Haha, He mentions her dad "just to make sure" yall know what I'm talking about. LOL And then kept his distance and avoided physical contact as much as he could! Well done John! thumps up!!

She was pretty good. She showed no fear. Lenny Kravitz had his crew pull my daughter up on the stage and sing back up, he jumped into the crowd, ran around playing guitar and singing up and down the aisles. He left her up there for quite a long time and she didn't freeze up. What an experience for her she'll never forget. The Woodlands Pavilion north of Houston..frigging awesome

As long as you're being honest, if you just happened to be the "rando" presented with this extremely rare and unique opportunity to join one of your favorite bands live on stage to sing the closing chorus of their biggest hit, would you pass on it for the reasons you stated? And at that point, when John picked a rando to come up on stage and get her 15 famous minutes, EVERYONE at that show was there to see her sing.
